There Is A Crown On Your Head ~ Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor

Topic: There Is A Crown On Your Head [Tuesday April 18, 2017]

“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. (Matt. 2:1-3)

Herod oppressed, caged, and limited many people but Jesus the Messiah was born to liberate them so that they can re-discover their God-given destinies. Rediscovering God-given destinies is what the new experience in Christ entails. When you accept Christ as your LORD and Saviour, you graduate from a slave to a king wearing a crown. You may want to ask, “Am I really wearing a crown?” Yes, you are.  This fact is stated in Revelation 1:6-15.

You might not be aware that there is a crown on your head but the devil is. When God put that crown on your head, the devil had a glimpse of what your destiny will look like. That is why he is tenaciously fighting you. You might be wondering why you face so many temptations, battles, disappointments, etc. I have good news for you: The devil has no power to take your crown from your head.

You are the only one that can dethrone yourself and remove the crown on your head. You were born to be great. You might want to ask: “Can this world contain all our greatnesses if every believer becomes great?” Unequivocally, I say, “Yes!” God has made the earth big enough for us all.  There is a mark of greatness on your head. Know and act like a king today.

Words of Wisdom: The devil has no power to take your crown from your head.

Confession/Prayer: Every crown thief in my life, I catapult you out of my life with the fire of the Holy Ghost.
