TOPIC: Impossible Does Not Exist (TREM Devotional 10 January 2024)
“And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” – Genesis 11:6 (KJV)
MESSAGE:
Everywhere you turn, things are shaking. If you depend on natural things, you are going to be disappointed. Therefore, it is vital that your heart is set on the Word. The Word of God is an expression of His thoughts. Speak His thoughts! Speak it into your life daily. Put it on your screen. Put it on your fridge. Put it in your dining area. Put it everywhere so that your mind will become tamed. You will be kept in perfect peace when your mind is stayed on God’s thoughts.
Thoughts are very powerful. Everything is a product of thought. The house you are living in is a product of thought. Your car is a product of thought. I don’t know what is wrong with believers. But one thing is crystal clear: we are operating below our mental capacity. We need to connect to God so much so that we can receive ideas from Him.
According to our Bible text, nothing will be restrained from the people which they have imagined doing. What they were planning was so huge that Heaven had to intervene to stop them. Now look at Heaven’s assessment of the project! They have not built it, but as far as heaven’s economy is concerned, it is already built by mere thinking. In other words, if they can imagine it, they can achieve it. If they can think it through, they can achieve it.
Beloved, there is nothing that God does not have the answer to. All we need to do is to open our minds to God. Open your heart to God for ideas to turn your life around. There are treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places. They are not revealed to every eye. Only very few people will see it. God wants to show you. Open your mind and be convinced that nothing is impossible – all things are possible if only you believe.
