Topic: Failure Is Not A Bus Stop [Sunday November 12, 2017]
Scripture: But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18
Thought For The Day: It does not matter how badly you have messed up and missed it, you can still make it if you mean it.
Failure is simply the inability of something to work out as expected. It is an abortion of project, ventures, opportunities or expectations in life.
The challenge today is that many people have come to think or conclude that failure is the end of the road. However, a bend on the road is not the end of the road.
The truth is that you have not failed until you accept that you have failed. Failure is only a mistake that can be corrected.
It was Bishop David Abioye who said, ‘Mistake means re-take’. That is to say, if you missed it before, you can take it again.
You may say, ‘If I did not make this mistake, if I did not mess up like that, I would have been a better person by now’. No! Do not say that. It is possible that you messed up, failed or made mistakes, and as a result, a major door got closed against you, but the good news is that you are not the same as your mistake(s).
Beloved, it does not matter how badly you have messed up and missed it, you can still make it if you mean it.
The critical thing is not that you failed, messed up or made mistakes; the most important thing is your ability to forgive yourself and move on. Release fresh optimism, acquire fresh determination, gain fresh momentum and take new calculated steps.
You shall succeed, in Jesus’ Name.
Remember This: It does not matter how badly you have messed up and missed it, you can still make it if you mean it.
