Topic: Fulfilling God’s Purpose [Friday 27, January 2017]
“… to whom also he gave testimony, and said I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will.” ( Acts 13:22)
By His grace and your determined effort, you can fulfill God’s purpose for your life. This year, make every effort to fulfill God’s purpose for your life. Your determination to do God’s will is very important.
Now place your right hand on your chest and declare: “I am a child of purpose.” When you know that you have a purpose in this life, nobody can kill you. Do you know why? It’s simply because nobody can kill God’s purpose. This reminds me of what happened sometime ago.
I once had to travel from Port Harcourt to Uyo and from there to Abuja. We boarded an helicopter and thirty minutes later, we were in Uyo. But, I noticed that forty minutes later, the helicopter was still hovering in the air. So I said to the Pilot, “What is happening?” He said, “Sir, I don’t know where to land.” “You will know where to land,” I replied spontaneously. As we hovered in the air, at a point, a gentleman from the Philippines said to me, “Sir, can you show him where to land?” The Pilot said, “I cannot see it.” So I said, “You will see it because I have a mission in Uyo, and thereafter I am going to Abuja for another mission. Don’t worry, just keep trying, you will find it.” The fear was that the aviation fuel would be exhausted, but I urged him on. Suddenly, after an hour, he said, “I can see it now! At last, we landed safely.
Wherever you go, because you know God’s purpose for your life, you will land safely and be fulfilled, spiritually and physically.
WORDS OF WISDOM: When you know that you have a purpose in life, nobody can kill you.
PRAYER/CONFESSION: Lord, because I know your purpose for my life, I will land and be fulfilled, in Jesus name.
