TREM Devotional – What You Believe Is What Will Manifest

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 28 September 2023 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – What You Believe Is What Will Manifest

TOPIC: What You Believe Is What Will Manifest (TREM Devotional 28 September 2023)

“Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” Isaiah 53:1 (NKJV)

MESSAGE:

Today, I’ve come to ask you: Whose report do you believe? Do you believe you are who God says you are? Do you believe that His promises are yours? Do you believe what situations and challenges are saying to you? It does not require faith to believe in defeat, failure, or lack. You don’t need faith to be afraid, they are more often in line with your experience. However, faith is required to believe in victory. You need faith to believe in God for your healing and provisions. The just shall live by faith. And faith pleases God. We are called believers because we believe in God.

Beloved, whatever you believe is what will manifest. So, if you want to know what you believe, check through your life, and find out what is manifesting, then you will know exactly what you believe. Believing the report of the Lord is what it takes for the arm of the Lord to be revealed. You cannot go on believing wrongly and expect that good things to be made manifest. No! It does not work that way. I know that things might not be going right. I know there are difficulties and challenges facing you. But in the midst of that, you must hold on to what God’s Word says concerning you, and never let go. Even in the face of contradictory evidence, you are who God says you are. You have what He says you have. You can do what He says you can do; only believe. Your part is not to know how it will happen. Your part is to believe what He says, and He will figure out how to bring it to pass.

“And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.” (Luke 1:38 KJV). What are you going to believe and what are you going to say about your life? Remember that you will have what you say! So, don’t believe the devil’s lies!

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Your Part In Honouring God With The Multitude

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 28 September 2023 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Your Part In Honouring God With The Multitude

TOPIC: Your Part In Honouring God With The Multitude (Seeds Of Destiny 28 September 2023)

SCRIPTURE: In the multitude of people is the king’s honour: but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince. Proverbs 14:28.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: One of the best ways to honour God is to command the submission of multitude to worship Him.

MESSAGE:

Sometime ago, I was privileged to preach in Lagos at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) alongside Papa E. A. Adeboye during an Annual Leadership Conference. I preached on “Church Growth” as a topic.

When I finished preaching, he came and concluded the message. He continuously made references to the things I preached and then said, “We need big churches in the world. How I wished a Church can build a sanctuary of about five hundred thousand capacity and other churches around the world would follow suit and build such mega capacity sanctuaries. Then, the Body of Christ would be the one to decide who should be the president of a country per time, what should happen per time, and how the mayors, governors, ministers should be elected or selected.”

The truth is, if the people of God have enough size, if everyone joins forces together and says that no corrupt person, no killer, no criminal, and nobody with bad or dubious records, etc. can be a leader, it would stand.

Beloved, one of the best ways to honour God is to command the submission of multitudes to worship Him. And if the multitude can follow Jesus to the wilderness, you can compel multitudes anywhere in the world to worship God. Even if you are a business man, you are not permitted to run a dry business. Whatever you do in the Name of God is not permitted to be dry. If you can see one unbeliever with any form of patronage in the same business, it is an insult on the grace you carry if you lack patronage.

My question is, as a church member or worker, what is your part in commanding multitudes to honour of God? Do you win souls for Christ or invite them to Church? You are only truly honourable when your life brings honour to God by the gathering of multitudes to worship Him.

REMEMBER THIS: One of the best ways to honour God is to command the submission of multitudes to worship Him.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Make up your mind that your life would bring honour to God.
2. Win souls for Christ; invite someone to church so they can be blessed and be planted.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to win souls and invite people to church. Let my life bring honour to Your Name, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: Nothing compels the attention of the multitude like proofs. Culled from the book, “MAKING FULL PROOF OF MINISTRY” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Habakkuk 2-Zephaniah 1.

AMAZING FACT: Despite accounting for 2% of our body mass, the brain uses 20% of our oxygen and blood supply.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Receive the grace and passion for soul wining and soul establishment in this season, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – God’s Secrets

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 28 September 2023 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — God’s Secrets

TOPIC: God’s Secrets (DCLM Daily Manna 28 September 2023)

KEY VERSE: “And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end” (Daniel 12:8,9).

TEXT: Daniel 12:5-13 (KJV)

5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.

6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

MESSAGE:

Writing by divine inspiration, David stated that “The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him…” (Psalm 25:14). Years later, Apostle Paul would easily relate to this truth when he shared the story of how he was shown the picture of heaven, but told to keep the vision a secret. Here in our reading today is Daniel equally witnessing a scene he was not empowered to fully comprehend or record.

In the vision, Daniel saw three personalities. Two were angels standing on each side of the river and “the man clothed in linen” standing upon the waters! One angel asked the man clothed in linen how long would be the end of “the wonders”. In answer, the man solemnly lifted up his hands to heaven and declared that “it shall be for a time, times, and an half” (three and a half years). Daniel did not understand the precise meaning of the statement and asked for further clarifications. He was forbidden to inquire further but was assured that true believers would laugh last.

The Lord works in ways beyond human comprehension. Sometimes, He keeps things away from people like He did to Elisha when the son of the woman of Shunem died. At other times, He reveals His plans to individuals, as He did to Joseph when he interpreted Pharaoh’s dreams. Whatever He chooses to do is in order because “secret things belong unto the LORD” (Deuteronomy 29:29).

We are in the last days and the complexity of the world today demands wisdom and an analytical mind to help in decision-making. God knows what we need most in such critical times of our lives, and He wants to grant us access to the right information, to know how to act. Our duty then is to trust Him sufficiently to guide us each day on what to do and things to avoid. We must also learn to wait on Him patiently without cutting corners.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
God’s secrets are reserved for His saints.

TREM Devotional – God Functions In The Eternal Now

Bishop Mike OkonkwoWisdom For The Day Devotional 27 September 2023 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – God Functions In The Eternal Now

TOPIC: God Functions In The Eternal Now (TREM Devotional 27 September 2023)

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Satan’s assignment is to create circumstances that are not palatable. That is his job! He desires to increase the challenges around you to make you think that things can never turn out well. The more you look around you and it looks as if things can never work, know that the devil is carrying out his assignment. His business is to tell you that your mill barrel is empty, and nobody is going to help you. His responsibility is to show you how you are already on the floor and how nothing has changed in your life. If you fall for any of the devil’s antics, then what God has ordained for you will never happen.

You are not a thermometer; you are a thermostat. You determine your environment. You must learn to encourage yourself in the Lord irrespective of what you are facing. Remember that God does not live in a time zone. He lives in a timeless zone. So, with God, everything is always in the now. Faith is now or never. If you don’t receive the prophecy now it will never happen. If you decide that what will make you receive the prophecy is when circumstances around you change, you have missed the point. When you receive it now, you have aligned yourself in God’s timeless zone and then God will now come from that timeless zone to the time zone.

The delay is not because it is not yet done. Whatsoever you desire, when you pray believe that you have received it. The Bible does not say ‘believe you are going to receive’ but it says you receive it now. Whatever you are trusting God for is made available in the now. Things may be working contrary in your office but always remember, God has done it. God does not have tomorrow or yesterday to answer prayers. He only has now. Now faith is, not faith was or will be!

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Covenant Way Of Living

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 27 September 2023 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: The Covenant Way Of Living

TOPIC: The Covenant Way Of Living (Seeds Of Destiny 27 September 2023)

SCRIPTURE: And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places. And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar. 1 Kings 3:3-4

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: As a church member or a worker, you cannot struggle in life if you engage in covenant practices.

MESSAGE:

Sometime ago, I saw a church worker who was stranded. He could not pay his children’s school fees or handle his other financial responsibilities.

I said to him, “It is well with you. Do you tithe?”
He said, ‘Yes’.
I asked him “Do you tithe consistently and faithfully?”
He said, “No.” Then I understood the root of his challenge.

You must understand that it is not the occasional practice of God’s principles that brings results, but continual and consistent practice.

Now, there are unbelievers or people who are not even established in church. Some of them have not been to church for a long time but when they hear teachings on covenant practices, they run with them. They practice it, and consequently, their lives change.

On the contrary, though sadly, there are those who have been in church for many years, but when they hear a teaching on covenant practices, it enters into one of their ears and comes out through the other. It is not supposed to be so.

The truth is, it is not possible to claim your love for someone when it is not backed with giving. As a lady, any man who claims to love you but is only interested in what to get from you, run for your life. Such a man would empty you when he finally marries you. Such a man would kick you out and look for someone else after emptying you. So, the proof of authentic love is giving.

In my own life, my wife and I have given things to God many times to the point that if it were possible to drop ourselves inside the offering basket any day, we would do so.

So, the practice of the Kingdom cannot be negotiated. As a church member or a worker, you cannot struggle in life if you engage in covenant practices.

REMEMBER THIS: As a church member or a worker, you cannot struggle in life if you engage in covenant practices.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make covenant practices your way of life.
  2. Prove your love to God by constant releases of your resources for the advancement of His Kingdom.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to be consistent in the practice of the covenant. Deliver me from inconsistency in giving, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: BE A CHRISTIAN FIRST – TAKE HEED TO YOURSELF.

QUOTE: The tithe is the covenant connector to the blessings of God. Culled from “21 UNCOMMON KEYS TO FINANCIAL OVERFLOW” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Nahum 2-Habakkuk 1.

AMAZING FACT: Whales are the largest animals on earth.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: I destroy every trace of struggle in your life as a consistent practitioner of the covenant in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – One World, Two Destinies

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 27 September 2023 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — One World, Two Destinies

TOPIC: One World, Two Destinies (DCLM Daily Manna 27 September 2023)

KEY VERSE: “Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn” (Matthew 13:30).

TEXT: Matthew 13:24-43 (KJV)

24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:

32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

33 Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:

35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

MESSAGE:

As harvest time is to all farmers irrespective of their geographical locations worldwide, so is the end of the world to believers and unbelievers. However, our Lord is coming back again to take the saints to heaven for a blissful eternity. He will reward His saints with crowns of glory and they shall finally spend their eternity in the kingdom of our Father in heaven. To sinners, He promises eternal damnation.

In today’s text, Christ our Lord speaks to His disciples in parables about the decision of God to reward all men according to their deeds on the last day. Christ emphasises the parable of the tares of the field. He likens the kingdom of God to a man sowing good seeds in his farmland. However, while sleeping, his enemy sows tares among the wheat. When the wheat sprouts, the tares grow alongside. The servants of the sower observe the development, report to their master and suggest that the tares should be removed to give the wheat a chance of bearing fruits. The sower declines his servants advice, preferring both tares and wheat grow together. He directs that the wheat shall be harvested and separated from the tares at the time of harvest.

The sower of the good seed is our Lord Jesus Christ. The field is the world where the sinner and saints live together, though heading to different destinations at the end of the world. The good seeds are the children of God while the tares are the children of the devil. The enemy that planted the tares is Satan and the harvest is the end of the world.

As the sower separates the tares from the wheat at the time of harvest, God will separate sinners from saints at the end of the world. While He sends sinners to the lake that burns with fire and brimstones, He will bring His saints into eternal rest in His kingdom.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Eternal regrets await all who die without Christ.

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 25 September 2023 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Living A Life Of Impact And Influence

TOPIC: Living A Life Of Impact And Influence (Seeds Of Destiny 25 September 2023)

SCRIPTURE: For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: Acts 13:36

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If there is no one learning from you, it is possible that your life is wasting.

MESSAGE:

It has been confirmed that the value of your life is the impact you make in the lives of others. We are created to impact our generation. We exist to show the world through our impact, who our God is.

You see, as a child of God, someone must be drawing from your life because of your impact and influence. Someone must be benefitting from your life, physically, mentally or spiritually.

The truth is, if there is no one learning from you, it is possible that your life is wasting.

As a young lady, is there any younger lady who is saying concerning you, “I want to be like that sister? I like her fire and passion.”

I remember when I was in the University, there was a young man who repented and gave his life to Jesus Christ.

Wherever I stood to pray in the medical student’s fellowship gathering, he would stand beside me to pray.

One day, I asked him, “What are you doing?”

“I am just observing you. I want to pray like you are praying,” he answered.

Today, that young man is a pastor and he is doing very well.
I remember in those days in the university, people would just come to our room. When I asked, “What did you come for?” They would say, “I just came to catch the atmosphere.” This was because the atmosphere of the place was a prayer atmosphere; the atmosphere of God’s Presence.

In your life, there should be someone who would look at you and say, “Please, show me how to move; show me how to be a successfully married man; show me how to combine academics and spirituality, and not fail in any of them.”

Beloved, you must make up your mind to live a life of impact.

REMEMBER THIS: If there is no one learning from you, it is possible that your life is wasting.
