TREM Devotional – Call The Things That Be Not As Though They Are

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 1 June 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Call The Things That Be Not As Though They Are

TOPIC: Call The Things That Be Not As Though They Are (TREM Devotional 1 June 2022)

“As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were” Romans 4: 17 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

God has what it takes to quicken dead things. God knows how to make dead things come alive. There might be some dead things in your life, get ready, they are coming alive. Not only does God quicken dead things, but He also calls the things that are not as if they are. In Christ, you have been designed to call things that be not as though they are. You are not called to call the things that be.

Believers are all over the place calling the things that be as though they are. No! That is not what you are called to do. Your assignment is to call the things that be not as though they are. Presently, health is not, wealth is not, and prosperity is not. But we call them as though they are already. Are you ready to receive your healing? Call it as though it is there!

Call the things that be not as though they were. Don’t call the things that you are experiencing. The things that you are experiencing do not change anything. The things that you call forth are the things that will produce the desired change. Children of God start calling forth what you desire. Begin to call forth the thing that you are not experiencing. That is how-to walk-in dominion; that is how-to walk-in power. “Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?” (Ecclesiastes 8:4. KJV).

What do you desire today? What are your expectations? What do you want God to do for you? Open your mouth and call it forth. Don’t ever close your mouth. For a closed mouth is a closed destiny! I call you delivered! I call you blessed! I call your womb blessed. Your desires shall be granted! No power will abort your destiny! The Lord will make your way prosperous and you shall have good success!

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Trap Of Bitterness

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 1 June 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: The Trap Of Bitterness

TOPIC: The Trap Of Bitterness (Seeds Of Destiny 1 June 2022)

SCRIPTURE: And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not everyone his brother their trespasses. Matthew 18:34-35.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Unforgiveness and bitterness invite torment.

MESSAGE:

Welcome to the Month of June, 2022. We appreciate God for bringing us to the sixth month of the year. He who has begun a good work in our life shall complete it, in Jesus’ Name.

We shall begin our study this month with the subject of unforgiveness. Unforgiveness or bitterness has been identified as a trap the enemy uses to destroy many lives.

Unforgiveness is a situation where you feel so terribly offended by someone that you become bitter against the person. And you know, the worst form of offence usually comes from those who are meant to love you or those you assisted but later turned against you. They could be your parents, siblings, uncles, cousins, friends, etc.

This is why Matthew 10:36 says:
And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.
The devil can purposely send people to offend you unto destruction. Please know that not every agent of the devil comes to attack you with a gun. There are many agents of the devil who come to attack you with “offence.” and after the offence comes bitterness, and bitterness invites torment (Matthew 18:34-35).

Sometime ago, a lady came to my office on two crutches. She was about to get married at that time but had an accident. Her two big thigh bones broke. As I was about to pray for her, the Holy Spirit said to me, “Tell her to go and forgive”. When I told her to forgive, she agreed and went away and I did not see her again. I did not know that she was bitter against many people.

After many years, while I was dedicating children on the Altar of our Church on a Sunday morning, I saw her on her two feet walking perfectly. She had been healed, got married and was at the Altar to dedicate her child.

When I asked her what happened, she said, “Sir, you told me to go and forgive. I went and forgave and I was healed”. She is a dedicated member of the church workforce and has three children now.

You see, unforgiveness is a trap of the enemy. Refuse to be trapped by unforgiveness. Release and forgive all those who have offended you.

REMEMBER THIS: Unforgiveness and bitterness invite torment.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Go through today’s message again thoughtfully.
  2. Ask God for the grace to forgive and release all those who have offended you.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for showing me the path of life and good health. I refuse to be entrapped by bitterness. I receive the grace to forgive and release all those who have offended me, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE TRAPS (DEVICES) OF THE ENEMY

QUOTE: One of the worst things that can happen to a person is to be gripped by bitterness. Bitterness is the source of countless spiritual and physical problems in millions of lives today. Culled from “AM I BITTER?” by Dr (Mrs) Becky Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Psalm 70-72

AMAZING FACT: On a clear night you can see as far as 19 quadrillion miles up into the sky.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: Every grip of the spirit of bitterness be broken off your life in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – We Are Peculiar

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 1 June 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — We Are Peculiar

TOPIC: We Are Peculiar (DCLM Daily Manna 1 June 2022)

TEXT: Deuteronomy 14:1-21 (KJV)

1 Ye are the children of the Lord your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.

2 For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.

3 Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.

4 These are the beasts which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat,

5 The hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois.

6 And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat.

7 Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you.

8 And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.

9 These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:

10 And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.

11 Of all clean birds ye shall eat.

12 But these are they of which ye shall not eat: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,

13 And the glede, and the kite, and the vulture after his kind,

14 And every raven after his kind,

15 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,

16 The little owl, and the great owl, and the swan,

17 And the pelican, and the gier eagle, and the cormorant,

18 And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.

19 And every creeping thing that flieth is unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten.

20 But of all clean fowls ye may eat.

21 Ye shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.

KEY VERSE: “For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth” (Deuteronomy 14:2).

MESSAGE:

People who live in any palace of a king are expected to behave in a dignified way. Those in Buckingham Palace or the White House, for instance, are known to bear that royalty and behave in some special ways to keep the aura and maintain the respect and dignity of the place. Even so, those who have accepted and confessed Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour must behave as true representatives of Christ in a dignified way.

Israel was a nation chosen by God from among the nations. For this reason, she was not to identify with any of the false religions of the nations. In our text today, God expressly commanded Israel to avoid some animals which He listed to maintain their holy affinity with Him. They did not question God but implicitly obeyed.

God wants us to be different from the people of the world. The way we handle our ceremonies: burials, weddings and child dedications, house warming, etc., must be different and show that we truly belong to the Lord. When we do otherwise, we drag God’s glory in the mud.

We are God’s peculiar people. Let us wear this badge always and make it reflect in our conducts, interactions and practices. As God’s chosen generation, a holy and royal people, we must learn to live within the confines of God’s commandment and be distinct from others (1 Peter 2:9).

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Standing for God in obedience to His will makes life more fulfilling.

Magnify the Lord with me,
Let us praise His name together
Magnify the Lord with me,
Praise His name, lift Him on high.

I sought the Lord,he heard and he delivered me,from all of my fears
Oh taste and see, that the Lord
He is good, He is good… but
He took me out of the miry clay
Set my feet on rock to stay…. (2x)

Magnify the Lord with me,
Let us praise His name together,
Magnify the Lord with me,praise His name lift Him on high.

(Bridge)
Lift up your voice and praise the Lord (3x).
Praise the Lord for He is good
Oh clap your hands and praise the Lord (3x)
Praise the Lord for He is good
Sing hallelujah lets praise the Lord (3x)
Praise the Lord, for He is good

He healed my body
( yeah praise the Lord)
Transformed my mind
(yeah praise the Lord)
Delivered me
(yeah praise the Lord)
Gave me a testimony
(yeah praise the Lord)

TREM Devotional – Believe To See The Goodness Of God

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 31 May 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Believe To See The Goodness Of God

TOPIC: Believe To See The Goodness Of God (TREM Devotional 31 May 2022)

“I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” – Psalms 27:13. (KJV)

MESSAGE:

The Psalmist said he had almost fainted if he had not believed, to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. In order words, David is saying in effect that God’s goodness is there. David is saying that: God who is a good God, has already released His goodness. But he needed to do something to receive it. He needed to do something to get it. He needed to believe.

God’s Goodness is available! The challenge is that there are a lot of other things that are distracting you and making it difficult for you to see the Goodness of God. Those distractions were the things that were trying to cause David to faint. But he decided that he wasn’t going to faint! Can you believe it? That is the question. If you can only believe, you will see the Goodness of God. David made a choice to believe in God’s goodness because God is always good. God is never the one withholding anything from us. When “believe” meets with the Word of God, something happens. When there is a collision between believing and God’s Word, all things are possible. That is why God’s Word is very important in the Christian faith.

So, you see, God has literally put everything in your court. It is not about Him being able! He is able! He can do anything! There is no problem without a solution with God. When it defies man’s ability, God always has an answer. Can you believe it? That is the critical issue! The ancient prophet of God declares: “Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?” (Isaiah 53:1 KJV). In other words, God is looking for who can dare believe the report. Who amongst you there can believe the report? The issue is not about your need, it is about believing God’s report. Power is released when you believe God’s report. The Goodness of God is made manifest in your life when you believe the Lord’s report.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Look Up To God, Not Man

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 31 May 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Look Up To God, Not Man

TOPIC: Look Up To God, Not Man (Seeds Of Destiny 31 May 2022)

SCRIPTURE: This is what the Lord says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord. Jeremiah 15:5 (NLT).

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: There is nothing in the hand of a man of God outside of God.

MESSAGE:

Sometime ago, I was ministering in a Sunday service, making declarations on the altar: As I saw, I declared that: ‘There is an angel here with a curved oil vial anointing people.’ And a young girl confirmed that she was seeing exactly what I was declaring. She saw the angel with that curved oil vial anointing the people.

Now, amongst other things she said, the most amazing thing was that while I was laying hands on the people I called to stand on a queue, she saw Jesus touched them before my hand came on them, but she also said there were persons Jesus did not touch; He passed them and touched the next person to them on the queue.

At this point, I realized that the heart condition of people determines the touch they can receive from God. It is possible that the persons that Jesus bypassed were looking for a man to touch them so Jesus had to bypass them for the man to touch them. But Jesus touched the people who anticipated the touch of God before the hand of man could reach their heads.

Beloved, there is nothing in the hand of a man of God outside of God. He is just flesh and blood from dust. So, to look up to a man or believing more in a man than God makes continued frustration inevitable.

Remember this: There is nothing in the hand of a man of God outside of God.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

  1. Whenever you are in Church, look up to God for a touch, not the pastor.
  2. Ask God for mercy if you consistently look up to man as source.
  3. Make demands on the touch of God.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: SUCCEEDING WITH GOD

PRAYER: Lord, You are my only Source of help. I trust You for my wellbeing in life. Lay Your Hands on me Lord and change my story, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: Deficiency and shortage in life is a product of existing independent of God. Culled from “21 FOOLISH THINGS PEOPLE DO” by Dr Paul Enenche.

AMAZING FACT: A herd of unicorn is called a blessing.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: The Hand of the Lord rest heavily upon you to produce needed result in Jesus Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Be Steadfast

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 31 May 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi – Be Steadfast

TOPIC: Be Steadfast (DCLM Daily Manna 31 May 2022)

TEXT: 2 Chronicles 18:1-12 (KJV)

Now Jehoshaphat had riches and honour in abundance, and joined affinity with Ahab.

2 And after certain years he went down to Ahab to Samaria. And Ahab killed sheep and oxen for him in abundance, and for the people that he had with him, and persuaded him to go up with him to Ramothgilead.

3 And Ahab king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat king of Judah, Wilt thou go with me to Ramothgilead? And he answered him, I am as thou art, and my people as thy people; and we will be with thee in the war.

4 And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the Lord to day.

5 Therefore the king of Israel gathered together of prophets four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall we go to Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for God will deliver it into the king’s hand.

6 But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the Lord besides, that we might enquire of him?

7 And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, by whom we may enquire of the Lord: but I hate him; for he never prophesied good unto me, but always evil: the same is Micaiah the son of Imla. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

8 And the king of Israel called for one of his officers, and said, Fetch quickly Micaiah the son of Imla.

9 And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah sat either of them on his throne, clothed in their robes, and they sat in a void place at the entering in of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.

10 And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made him horns of iron, and said, Thus saith the Lord, With these thou shalt push Syria until they be consumed.

11 And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramothgilead, and prosper: for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king.

12 And the messenger that went to call Micaiah spake to him, saying, Behold, the words of the prophets declare good to the king with one assent; let thy word therefore, I pray thee, be like one of their’s, and speak thou good.

KEY VERSE: “And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he never prophesied good unto me, but always evil: the same is Micaiah the son of Imla. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so” (2 Chronicles 18:7).

MESSAGE:

A governor in one of the states in an African country lamented that his country’s leaders detest the truth. He was quoted as saying: “…A strategic leader must be willing to hear the truth and to learn. However, telling the truth and accepting it when told the same, have been our major problems. Some people will never tell you the truth when you are in power and honestly, many of us in power also do not want to hear the truth. We prefer to be told what we like to hear and that is a serious deficit in strategic leadership.”

Those who hate God hate the truth. In our text, Ahab has been known to hate anything that concerns God. His evil ways had made him a chronic enemy of God. With him were lying prophets who profiteer from telling lies and counterfeiting the true God. They delighted in telling King Ahab only what he wanted to hear and not what he should hear.

A lesson for believers is in the steadfastness of Prophet Micaiah. Despite the fact that the king hated him, he chose to remain on the side of God. Even when he was cajoled to follow the path of others by favouring King Ahab, he stood his ground.

Believers must learn to stand by their convictions in spite of the pressure to compromise. We must never follow the multitudes to do evil. Even when things become too difficult to be on God’s side, when it appears you are standing alone, remember that He never let them down that honour Him.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
One with God is majority.

TREM Devotional – Activate The Supernatural

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 30 May 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Activate The Supernatural

TOPIC: Activate The Supernatural (TREM Devotional 30 May 2022)

“Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” Isaiah 66:8. (KJV)

MESSAGE:

You see, when you look at this scripture, what comes to your mind is, how can it happen. I want to announce to you today that your God will fight for you. He will make the impossible possible.

Maybe you are wondering how you will ever bring forth with all the troubles around you. How will your dreams come to pass? The book of Zechariah 4:6 gives us the answer: “Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”

Therefore, it is very important that we cultivate the habit of praying in the prayer language of the Spirit. When we pray in the prayer language of the Spirit, we are activating the supernatural because we can communicate directly with God without any form of hindrance. When we pray in the prayer language of the Spirit, we are engaging mysteries. “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit, he speaketh mysteries.” (1 Corinthians 14:2 KJV).

The prayer language of the Spirit helps you to pray accurately. There are times that we lack the language to articulate the burdens in our hearts. That is when the supernatural language of the Spirit takes over. “Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” Romans 8:26 KJV.

When we begin to deploy the prayer language of the Spirit, then all things begin to work together for us. Praying in the Holy Ghost will help to build up your faith. “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,” Jude 1:20 KJV. Prayer in the Holy Ghost will also help us to intercede for the people we know or don’t know.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Blessed By Being A Blessing

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 30 May 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Blessed By Being A Blessing

TOPIC: Blessed By Being A Blessing (Seeds Of Destiny 30 May 2022)

SCRIPTURE: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: Genesis 12:2

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The extent you are willing to be a blessing is the extent to which you will be blessed by God.

MESSAGE:

Our anchor Scripture confirms that no one can be blessed by God until he is a blessing. God told Abraham, I will bless you and thou shall be a blessing (Genesis 12:2). When you make up your mind to live as a blessing especially to the poor, then you trigger the Blessing upon your life (Psalm 41:1-3). This is an activation key to the blessing.

God blesses us to the capacity to which we agree to be a blessing. The extent you are willing to be a blessing is the extent to which you will be blessed by God.

Being a blessing entails being a blessing to the Kingdom of God and to humanity especially the poor. When your life is flowing like a river reaching out to the poor, to the Kingdom, family members, etc. it cannot dry.

In Psalm 132:1-5, we see how David decided to be a blessing to the Kingdom of God and that decision brought him to a realm of irrevocable blessing (1 Chronicles 29:1-3).

Beloved, it is a new day for you. The Blessing of God is coming on you as you make yourself a flowing river of blessing to others, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: The extent you are willing to be a blessing is the extent to which you will be blessed by God.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

  1. Look around you, locate someone who is in need of help such as an orphan, a widow, etc. and be a blessing to the person.
  2. Be involved in Kingdom projects.

DCLM Daily Manna – Broadcast It!

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 30 May 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Broadcast It!

TOPIC: Broadcast It! (DCLM Daily Manna 30 May 2022)

TEXT: Psalm 116:17-19 (KJV)

17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord.

18 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.

19 In the courts of the Lord’s house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord.

KEY VERSE: “I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.” – (Psalm 116:17)

MESSAGE:

One Sister Wendy Lee, in her thanksgiving testimony, spoke about how God saw her through a life-threatening surgery from a brain aneurysm (a balloon-like bulge on a blood vessel due to weakness in the vessel wall). She said if left untreated, it may rupture, resulting in possible stroke or death with about 30 percent chance of complete recovery. To be brief, the Lord provided good neurosurgeon who performed a successful surgery. Grateful to the Lord, she said, “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not…” (Lamentations 3:22).

We must resolve never to allow the enemy close our mouth and deprive us of the blessing in thanksgiving. In our text, the Psalmist gave thanksgiving for deliverance from death. He was delivered from death as a result of sickness. In verse 16, he talked about “loosed my bonds”. Believers must cultivate the habit of praising God for His wonderful works in their lives. When God helps us in times of challenges, it should draw us closer to Him.

Every individual carries within, the key that unlocks either the door of success or the door of failure. That key is attitude. One’s attitude can make or mar one’s chances of obtaining victory. In essence, an attitude that scoffs at the desired thanksgiving to God does not make way for more blessings upon an individual.

Therefore, we must not allow the enemy to deny us the inestimable possibilities that thanksgiving brings.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
“Praise is comely for the upright.”
