TREM Devotional – Mercy Will Speak For You

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 28 May 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Mercy Will Speak For You

TOPIC: Mercy Will Speak For You (TREM Devotional 28 May 2022)

“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.” Ecclesiastes 9:11 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

It is not about how smart you are. It is not about how strong you are. It is not even about how skilled you are. Without the Mercy of God, we are nothing. What the nations of the world had witnessed in the last two years has revealed how much we desperately need the Mercy of God. The covid-19 virus brought the world powers to their knees. Every type of prediction, postulations, and calculation, fell like a pack of cards. No one had the answer! According to the book of Roman’s 9:16: “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy.”

In times of uncertainties and difficulties, what you need is the Mercy of God. Wherever you may be in the journey of life, God will show you Mercy. By the reason of Mercy, God will turn things around on your behalf. God will overrule the powers of darkness in every area of your life.

Today, you may be faced with situations that you never imagined or expected that will happen. Rest in Him! Mercy will speak for you. God will not watch the enemy destroy His children. God will show His strong and Mighty Hands in your situation. He will never stop showing you Mercy. The last time I checked my bible, it still says: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10 KJV). God came that we may have life and life you must have. You won’t have death, you won’t have sickness, you won’t have tragedy and you won’t have misfortune. Life is your portion. This is God’s will for you.

You will not be destroyed! Mercy will continually speak on your behalf. No power can change that! Mercy is the very nature of God. Therefore, He yearns to show you Mercy. He takes delight in showing Mercy. “Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger forever, because he delighteth in mercy.” (Micah 7:18 KJV)

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Cost Of Sin

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 28 May 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: The Cost Of Sin

TOPIC: The Cost Of Sin (Seeds Of Destiny 28 May 2022)

SCRIPTURE: For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Mark 8:36

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It pays to serve God but it costs to serve the devil.

MESSAGE:

It has been confirmed that wrong desires are the foundation for a person’s destruction; a person’s wrong passion is the foundation for his temptation. That is why you must war against any wrong passion trying to creep into your life so that the devil does not use it as bait against you.

Some people’s wrong passion or area of weakness is money. They love money like Judas Iscariot. When the devil wanted to destroy Judas, he tempted him with money (John 12:6). For others, it is immorality. When he wanted to pull down David, he used a woman (2 Samuel 11:1-5).

What an animal loves is what is used to kill it. What an animal loves to eat is the bait that is used to trap it and kill it.

Beloved, sinful pleasure comes with a cost. It pays to serve God but it costs to serve the devil. There is no compromise without cost and there is no sinful pleasure without a consequence, both in time and in eternity.

A person drinking alcohol may be excited at the moment but after a short time, he loses control over himself. After a while, it begins to affect his marriage and family, then his health which may lead to death.

People have lost their jobs, destinies and lives on account of immoral affairs, stealing, etc.

Beloved, ask yourself, is that pleasure you are indulging in today worth the pay? Is that compromise worth the cost? Think about it!

Remember this: It pays to serve God but it costs to serve the devil.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

  1. Examine yourself and make amends where necessary.
  2. Turn down every invitation to sin or compromise.
  3. Make demands on the grace of God to live a holy life.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Every evil, sinful passion or desire in your life is destroyed now in Jesus Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Not A Forgetful Father

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 28 May 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Not A Forgetful Father

TOPIC: Not A Forgetful Father (DCLM Daily Manna 28 May 2022)

TEXT: Psalm 115:11-18 (KJV)

11 Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.

12 The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

13 He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great.

14 The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

15 Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth.

16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

17 The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence.

18 But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the Lord.

KEY VERSE: “The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.” – (Psalm115:12)

MESSAGE:

When man is at a crossroads, he is so deep in thought about whether he would survive or not, that he easily slips into fear of death. It happens to both believers and the heathen. The great Prophet Elijah fled for his life following Jezebel’s death threat. In that state of dilemma, he even asked God to take his life. Apostle Paul also spoke of “the sentence of death” in Asia.

The psalmist gives wise counsel for believers who find themselves in a dilemma. He admonishes them: “Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.” His plea is not to the sinful who rejects God’s word but to those who are in a relationship with Him. He says, “The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us…He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.”

This wisdom is lost on the majority of the people who seek material blessings outside God. They invest immense capital in the businesses of the ephemeral world without a corresponding attention to the things of lasting essence. But, like the psalmist said, God will reward and preserve those who fear Him.

As we fear the Lord and invest our resources to honour Him, He will be “mindful of us”. He will remember us in “our low estate” (Psalm 136:23). Instead of pondering over our situation, we should resolve to praise God like the psalmist. “The dead praise not the LORD… But we will bless the LORD …for evermore. Praise the Lord”.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
The Lord is always mindful of His children.

DCLM Daily Manna – Seeking The Lord

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 26 May 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Seeking The Lord

TOPIC: Seeking The Lord (DCLM Daily Manna 26 May 2022)

TEXT: 2 Chronicles 15:1-19 (KJV)

1 And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded:

2 And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

3 Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.

4 But when they in their trouble did turn unto the Lord God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.

5 And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.

6 And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.

7 Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.

8 And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the Lord, that was before the porch of the Lord.

9 And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

10 So they gathered themselves together at Jerusalem in the third month, in the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa.

11 And they offered unto the Lord the same time, of the spoil which they had brought, seven hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep.

12 And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;

13 That whosoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

14 And they sware unto the Lord with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.

15 And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the Lord gave them rest round about.

16 And also concerning Maachah the mother of Asa the king, he removed her from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove: and Asa cut down her idol, and stamped it, and burnt it at the brook Kidron.

17 But the high places were not taken away out of Israel: nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.

18 And he brought into the house of God the things that his father had dedicated, and that he himself had dedicated, silver, and gold, and vessels.

19 And there was no more war unto the five and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa.

KEY VERSE: “But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.” – (2 Chronicles 15:4)

MESSAGE:

A closer look at the condition of Judah in the passage today would easily make one say there is nothing new under the sun. As one is confronted by the reading that “in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries”, one would identify parallels between then and what our world is also experiencing. Both ages have witnessed troublous social and economic tempests.

In our text, the people of Judah, in their trouble, sought the Lord, and He “was found of them”. Great relief returned to them as they obeyed the voice of God’s prophet. The altar of the Lord was renewed. King Asa destroyed the idols in the land and dethroned his mother as the queen. All the people rejoiced as they swore an oath to serve the Lord, not idols. The evident result was that “the LORD gave them rest round about… And there was no more war” in the country for years.

The people of the world today are drifting away from heaven and are going after false gods and teachings that are dragging them deeper into sin and apostasy. They pay little or no heed to the Bible and its warning that time is short for the unrepentant transgressor.

Christians are to preach salvation to sinners so that they can escape the coming wrath of God. We must also continue to pray for the world to receive the gospel light since Jesus died for its redemption.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Rescue the perishing with the Word.

TREM Devotional – Be Careful How You Conduct Yourself

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 25 May 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Be Careful How You Conduct Yourself

TOPIC: Be Careful How You Conduct Yourself (TREM Devotional 25 May 2022)

“And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness” Ephesians 4:24 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

According to the Word of God, the believer does not belong to himself. He belongs to God. “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which is God’s”. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV).

Jesus Christ bought you with His own life. It was a death and life affair. That is why you must be careful how you conduct yourself. You cannot conduct yourself anyhow. Anywhere you go as a businessperson, honor Jesus. In your career, in your profession, in your ministry, and your family, you are the church. And God expects you to carry yourself in such a way that will bring honor and glory to His Name. “What? know ye not that he which is joined to a harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body, but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. (1 Corinthians 6:16-18 KJV).

When you truly understand who you are and your standing in Christ, then you will come to the full realization that you cannot afford to live just anyhow. It will change a lot of things in the way you behave.

Let’s consider other scriptures in this regard. “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye is the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk-in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,” (2 Corinthians 6 KJV).

Child of God, you are light and so you should not be found with anything that has to do with darkness. You are Christ’s, you are not part of demonic activities. You are the temple of the living God.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Secrets Of The Glory

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 25 May 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: The Secrets Of The Glory

TOPIC: The Secrets Of The Glory (Seeds Of Destiny 25 May 2022)

SCRIPTURE: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Everywhere sin is allowed, glory is disallowed.

MESSAGE:

It has been confirmed that the glory is the secret of the supernatural. The glory realm is a realm where anything is possible. It is also important to know that the glory occasions distinction; you cannot carry the glory and not shine (Isaiah 60:1). You cannot carry the glory and not stand out in life. You cannot end in obscurity with the glory; no devil can claim ignorance of your existence.

Now, what are the secrets of the glory?

  1. Freedom from sin (Romans 3:23). Everywhere sin is allowed, glory is disallowed. When you make the choice to live a life of sin, you have made the choice against the glory.

Beloved, if you want to experience the glory of God like you have never experienced before, be free from sin.

  1. Death to self (John 12:24). Call it the death of pride. If you want God to manifest His Glory in you and with you, pride must die; ego must die because God will not share His Glory with man. He won’t give His Praise to graven images. Arrogant people are never candidates for the glory of God (Isaiah 42:8).
  2. The worship of God. Everyone who is determined to give worship or praise to God for the Acts of God will not escape the glory. If you would always remember to say, “Lord, I am not behind these things, it is not my education, intelligence, fasting, it is not even my prayer that is behind these,” you cannot escape the glory.

Beloved, as you give yourself to these secrets, I see God’s glory overwhelming your life and making you to experience the supernatural, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: Everywhere sin is allowed, glory is disallowed.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

  1. Go through the secret of the glory again.
  2. Make demands on the glory of God upon your life.

PRAYER: Lord, I surrender all I have and all I am to You. In all You will do through me, I ask that You take the glory, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – From Penury To Prosperity

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 25 May 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — From Penury To Prosperity

TOPIC: From Penury To Prosperity (DCLM Daily Manna 25 May 2022)

TEXT: Psalm 113:1-9 (KJV)

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.

2 Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore.

3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.

4 The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

5 Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high,

6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.

KEY VERSE: “He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill.” – (Psalm 113:7)

MESSAGE:

The poor in every society are generally looked down upon as having no hope of ever climbing to prominence. Since fate, as it were, had landed them on the unfortunate side of life, they are expected to remain so and accept their lot in life. However, there are numerous testimonies of people who have had their destinies changed from penury to prosperity through the miraculous intervention of God.

The psalmist calls for the praise of this marvellous God. He acknowledges the wonderful way in which He turns around the lot of the poor and despised of the society. He also lifts them up to the place of prominence such that they are now equal with those that are reckoned to be princes. These marvellous acts of God distinguish Him from every other god, making Him worthy of all praises and worship.

You must not see your current situation as irredeemable and hopeless. God is still God! What He did in the past, He is still doing today. He is the destiny changer. However bad your past experiences might be, if you keep holding on to His promises while doing what is right, your story must change for good.

Look away from your present challenges, lacks and wants and begin to praise the Lord always. Give your best to the work you do and avoid laziness. Before long, you too will be numbered with the poor whom God raised from the dunghill and cause to sit among princes! Hallelujah!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
God specialises in changing destinies!

I Am A Wonder - Chike The Promise

Following the March release of “The Name Of Jesus,” Gospel artiste and music minister, Chike The Promise returns with a brand new single titled “I Am A Wonder,” available today on digital platforms. The rock-infused song is a declarative/prophetic anthem with faith-inspiring lyrics that uplift the body, soul, and spirit.

According to Chike the Promise, the new track aims to re-awaken the consciousness of who we are in Christ. “Because when value is lost, every act becomes normal” He added

“Being made in the image of God mirrors our value and importance to the world and to the people around us. We are not only blessed by God but we are blessing carriers and a wonder that cannot be demystified by the wisdom of the world. Declare to yourself!!! “I AM A WONDER TO MY WORLD”.” the singer concluded.

Supporting the new single “I Am a Wonder,” Chike the Promise accompanied it with a music video.
