TREM Devotional – What An Incredible Love

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

TREM Devotional 14 February 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – What An Incredible Love

TOPIC: What An Incredible Love

“Be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love];” – Ephesians 3:18 (AMP)

Today is Valentine’s Day, and all over the world, everyone is celebrating love. Gifts are being exchanged, and different things are being done to commemorate the day. While all of these are good, because indeed it’s good to celebrate the people God has placed in your lives and to let them know that you love and appreciate them, I mean I am a firm believer in giving people their flowers while they are alive; however today, I want to remind you of a love that is unending and can never run out on you.

Our text paints a very vivid picture of this love. It says the love is so high, we can never get over it. It is so deep, reaching down to the deepest parts, therefore no matter how low we feel we have fallen, His love can still reach us right where we are. This love is so wide, it’s everywhere; oh what an incredible love God has for us His children.

The beautiful thing is that the love is not only for the believers. God loves the world, the question is are you ready to receive His love. His love for you is unconditional, iron-clad, blood-bought. He loves you just as you are where you are without any reservation. No matter how low you may have fallen, His love is reaching out to you; however, He will not force His love on you, accepting it is your choice. That is the only choice you have to make.

Beloved, that love is reaching out to you right where you are, right now. This love is healing you, it’s restoring you, it is wiping away the tears, it is providing for you, it is making a way for you even where there seems to be no way. All you have to do is just receive His love and thank Him for it.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Indecision – An Enemy Of Destiny

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 14 February 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Indecision – An Enemy Of Destiny

TOPIC: Indecision – An Enemy Of Destiny

SCRIPTURE: “Why do you sit at home among the sheepfolds – to hear the shepherds whistle for their flocks? Yes, in the tribe of Reuben there was great indecision.” Judges 5:16 (NLT)

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Indecision is an enemy of destination.

Decision is key to destiny fulfilment. Deciding to do what it takes to be who God wants you to be in life is key to becoming what you are meant to be. Deciding to give out your best in life is key to being the best in life. The decision to hold nothing back is critical to destiny fulfilment.

Philippians 3:14 says:
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Paul the Apostle made a decision and seemed to have said, “I am giving life everything it takes until it gives me everything it contains.”

Beloved, if you decide not to give life rest, life will give you rest. If you decide not to give your work rest, your work will give you rest. Whatever it requires, give life what it takes until it gives you what it contains.

Indecision was a major problem of the Reubenites. The children of Israel were called for battle but the Reubenites were indecisive.

Judges 5:16 says:
“Why do you sit at home among the sheepfolds – to hear the shepherds whistle for their flocks? Yes, in the tribe of Reuben there was great indecision.” (NLT).

Indecision is an enemy of destination. The tribe of Reuben could have been the greatest tribe in Israel but they could not because of indecision.

Beloved, there is no destiny for the undecided; there is no future with indecision. Therefore, make up your mind to always make the right decisions at the right time for your life and destiny.

REMEMBER THIS: Indecision is an enemy of destination.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Refuse the spell of indecision.
  2. Make up your mind to make the right decisions at the right time.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for showing me the pathway to destiny fulfilment. I receive the grace to always make the right decisions at the right time, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: KEYS TO DESTINY FULFILMENT (PT. 1).

QUOTE: Make the decision that life will not act on you; you will act on life. Culled from “21 FOOLISH THINGS PEOPLE DO” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Joshua 17-20.

REFLECTION: The right decision equals the right destination. The wrong decision equals the wrong destination. No decision equals no destination. And the Help of God is always required for the right decision.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: Grace to make the right decision at the right time is released for you in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Love’s Unfailing Attributes

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 14 February 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Love’s Unfailing Attributes

TOPIC: Love’s Unfailing Attributes

TEXT: 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 (KJV)

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

KEY VERSE: “Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.” – (1 Corinthians 13:8)

MESSAGE:

Love is the greatest force in life because “love is strong as death… [and] many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it…” (Song of Solomon 8:6,7). It is love that made God to give His only begotten Son for the salvation of the world. It is love that made Christ “endure the cross, despising the shame…” to make that salvation available to us (Hebrews 12:2).

First Corinthians chapter thirteen is usually called “the love chapter” because it gives a vivid insight into what genuine love is. Love is not jealous, does not brag and is not proud. Love is not selfish and does not behave rudely. It is not easily provoked. It does not rejoice in evil; neither does it keep record of wrongdoings. Love trusts.

Love is the first and the greatest commandment (Matthew 22:36-38). Love builds homes and sustains marriages and other relationships. Love makes life worth living. Love is seen in actions, words and even in facial expressions. Lack of love leads to tragedies like divorce, suicide, murder, war and so on. Love does not delight in fault-finding and criticisms because it “cover[s] the multitude of sins” (1 Peter 4:8).

Love is not resentful, but uplifts and encourages. Love puts a good construction on all things. This virtue comes through genuine conversion and freedom from sin. Love is not lust, which leads to unclean behaviours and practices that bring God’s judgment (Ephesians 5:2-7). Love is pure, incorruptible and harmless in thought, feeling, intention, action, disposition, attitude and response. Let us love like Christ and God.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
One language desired and understood by all is love.

CAC Living Water Daily Devotional – Don’t Be A Talebearer

CAC Living Water Daily Devotional

CAC Living Water Daily Devotional |  Sunday, February 13, 2022 | Don’t Be A Talebearer

Topic: Don’t Be A Talebearer

Date: Sunday, February 13, 2022 [World Radio Day]

Read:  2 Samuel 1:1-16

MEMORISE:

You shall not go about as a talebearer among your people; nor shall you take a stand against the life of your neighbor: I am the Lord (Leviticus 19:16)

EXPOSITION

A talebearer is one who maliciously gossips, or reveals secrets. He destructively meddles (in form of idle talk or rumour) in the private affairs of others. This is a form of character assassination. A talebearer is a list and slanderer who always gives false witness, and love evil report. He gossips in an indiscreet manner. He sheds blood with the words of his mouth. He doesn’t mind what take he bears, whether it is profitable or not. Are you one? The Bible warns about the havoc that talebearers wreck on others. ‘The words of a talebearer are like tasty trifles, and they go down into the inmost body’ (Prov. 26:22). We are equally warned not to meddle with talebearers, even as today commemorates World Radio Day (Prov. 20:19).

The Amalekites soldier in our golden text for today’s dose of the Living Water came from the battlefield to give a report to David. He wanted favour from David, which made him to give the details of King Saul’s death, though exaggerated, in fact, lying against himself. He was glad at the fall of King Saul. He saw that as an opportunity to accrue to himself an undue honour. Unknown to him, he messed with the wrong person – a man who loved even his enemies and wouldn’t allow the Lord’s anoint to fall by his sword. That Amalekite’s mouth exposedhimself to destruction because of his dishonesty, greed and unwholesome ambition. He had wrongly thought David would rejoice at his “enemy’s” fall, but he missed it.

Hope you aren’t like that Amalekite – rejoicing when your “enemy” is in danger (Prov. 24:17; Mic. 7:8)? Repent today. Instead of being a talebearer, be a carrier of good tidings, most especially, the Gospel of Christ (cf. Isa. 52:7). If you have been engaging in this wicked act that can cause irreparable damage to others, desist from it, now, so that you will not regret the result.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Pray that God should uproot every seed of gossip and backbiting from your life.

2. Pray that God will fight for you and defend you wherever people are gathering to accuse you falsely.

3. Pray for CAC Medayese Region, our father in the Lord, the Superintendent, and its officers at the various levels, as led by the Spirit of God.

TREM Devotional – Love Gives

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

TREM Devotional 13 February 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Love Gives

TOPIC: Love Gives

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. John 3:16

Love is a very interesting phenomenon. The love of man takes, and it is conditional, but the love of God is unconditional. His love reaches out to you first. He loved you before you even realized His love, and His love is unearned, undeserved, and unconditional.

We are in that season when everyone talks about love and I want to draw your attention to the God kind of love and encourage you to extend that love to everyone around you. If we can all understand and walk in the God-kind of love, our world will be a better place. Imagine a world where love reigns, which means things as simple as stealing will be eradicated. Do you know why? You cannot steal from someone you truly love. That was why Jesus said love is the fulfillment of the law.

Let us look at the scripture when He was asked which law is the greatest in Matthew 22:36-40. “Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like, unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Did you see that? The concept of love is God’s idea. In fact, God does not love; He is LOVE.

As we celebrate love in this season, let us be like God. The love of God gives. The way to show love is by giving. So give your time, talent, and resources to make the world a better place. Let the love of God shine through you as you touch a life today.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Tithing – A Key To Accessing The Blessing

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 13 February 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Tithing – A Key To Accessing The Blessing

TOPIC: Tithing – A Key To Accessing The Blessing

SCRIPTURE: Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:10.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The point of the tithe is the point of the Blessing.

The Blessing of God has the capacity of making a person a generational irrigator or a generational fertilizer. This means that when you carry a blessed person and put him in a dry place, the place will become wet. And when you put a cursed person in a wet place, the place will dry up. For instance, Joseph irrigated Potiphar’s house (Genesis 39:5).

Now, how do you activate the Power of the Blessing?
One way to activate the power of the Blessing is the practice of paying the tithe.

The point of the tithe is the point of the Blessing. It does not matter how much you struggle, if you are not a tither, you exempt yourself from the Blessing. If you are not a tither, you disconnect yourself from the release of the Blessing.

Now, how are you expected to tithe to attract the Blessing?
i. Tithe obediently and promptly (1 Samuel 15:22).
Do not delay the payment of the tithe. The principle of the tithe is the God-first mentality. You give God what belongs to Him first before you spend on yourself.

ii. Tithe faithfully and persistently (Proverbs 28:20).
To be faithful in tithing means to tithe continually and consistently. There are those who tithe faithfully but they do not tithe promptly. You should not tithe today, stop tomorrow and continue the next day. Tithe consistently unfailingly.

iii. Tithe insightfully.
Tithe with revelation (John 8:32). Tithe with the revelation that you know what you are doing. It is what we do with insight and understanding that produces results.

REMEMBER THIS: The point of the tithe is the point of the Blessing.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Go through today’s message again.
  2. Refuse to trivialize the matter of the tithe so you can access the Blessing.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for showing me the way of the Blessing. I receive the grace to tithe obediently, faithfully, insightfully and responsibly, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE POWER OF THE BLESSING (PT. 2).

QUOTE: Be committed to the practice of tithing. If you are ready for the overflow, be committed to the practice of tithing, the covenant practice of tithing. Culled from “21 UNCOMMON KEYS TO FINANCIAL OVERFLOW” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Joshua 13-16.

REFLECTION: From the Garden of Eden till date, God had never licensed man to eat up everything. He provides for him something that must always be set apart. To eat what must be set apart for God is to end with the curse.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: The heaven over you be open for immeasurable blessings as you obey the law of the tithe in Jesus’ Name.

Blind eyes open now
Dead men come alive

Everything is possible
Maka jesus ekwuola( jesus has spoken)
Rejoice

A thousand shall fall at thy side
And ten thousand at thy right-hand non shall by any means
I shall tread upon serpents and scorpions and non shall by any means harm thee
Even if i drink poison, it shall not come to pass, thats the word of the lord
Say to the righteous it shall be well with you

DCLM Daily Manna – Decision Of The Wise

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 13 February 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Decision Of The Wise

TOPIC: Decision Of The Wise

TEXT: Ruth 1:6-22 (KJV)

6 Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the Lord had visited his people in giving them bread.

7 Wherefore she went forth out of the place where she was, and her two daughters in law with her; and they went on the way to return unto the land of Judah.

8 And Naomi said unto her two daughters in law, Go, return each to her mother’s house: the Lord deal kindly with you, as ye have dealt with the dead, and with me.

9 The Lord grant you that ye may find rest, each of you in the house of her husband. Then she kissed them; and they lifted up their voice, and wept.

10 And they said unto her, Surely we will return with thee unto thy people.

11 And Naomi said, Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? are there yet any more sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands?

12 Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons;

13 Would ye tarry for them till they were grown? would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the Lord is gone out against me.

14 And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.

15 And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.

16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.

18 When she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her.

19 So they two went until they came to Bethlehem. And it came to pass, when they were come to Bethlehem, that all the city was moved about them, and they said, Is this Naomi?

20 And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.

21 I went out full and the Lord hath brought me home again empty: why then call ye me Naomi, seeing the Lord hath testified against me, and the Almighty hath afflicted me?

22 So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter in law, with her, which returned out of the country of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest.

KEY VERSE: “And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God.” – (Ruth 1:16)

MESSAGE:

Every man, to a large extent, is a product of his choices. You have but a single life, which is strongly anchored on your decisions and choices. Your decision and choices have kept you where you have been and where you are today. But it is of no use wasting tears upon blotted record of lost years. There are still blank pages of your life that you are yet to fill. And it is great to know that you can begin again.

Naomi had lost her husband and two sons in a sojourn to Moab and decided to return to Israel. Out of concern, she pleaded with her daughters-in-law to remain in their country, as there was no hope for them with her. While Orpah yielded, Ruth determined to return with her to Israel. Her decision to worship and serve the true and living God of Israel was rewarded, as she became the great grandmother of King David and a direct ancestor of Jesus.

Decisions and perseverance are noble qualities of man. We live by making decisions, which determine our destiny. Delayed decision may be good sometimes, but in many cases, it is disastrous. A churchgoer decided on a particular night that he would not leave the church building until he had settled the question of his soul’s salvation. The next day, he was involved in a terrible explosion in the mine where he worked. Before he died, he was heard muttering repeatedly, “It’s a good thing I settled it last night”.

When God calls, it is dangerous to delay. Indecision or procrastination is a problem. Tomorrow might be too late. Be definite in your choice. Be wise.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
There is no progress without decision.
