Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Cleansing Power Of The Word

Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 1 June 2021 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – The Cleansing Power Of The Word

TOPIC: The Cleansing Power Of The Word

Whatever keeps you in contact with the Word keeps you in contact with consistent cleansing.

SCRIPTURE: Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. Psalms 119:9

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Whatever keeps you in contact with the Word keeps you in contact with consistent cleansing.

You are welcome to the month of June 2021. Today, as we begin the last month in the first half of the year 2021, I decree a total Release, Recovery and Replication in your life, in Jesus’ Name.

The Word of God is a non-negotiable necessity in the life of the child of God. It is necessary, or almost more necessary, than physical food (Job 23:12). That is, the Word of God would put food on your table, and can even do more than just putting food on your table.

Now, how relevant is the Word of God to the life of the child of God?

The Word of God is a Cleanser and Purifier of Life. The Word purifies the life of a child of God.

The Word of God is a washer (Ephesians 5:26). It is a cleanser. The Word is a purifier.

This means, disconnection from the Word equals establishment in filth, uncleanliness or dirt. Whatever keeps you in contact with the Word keeps you in contact with consistent cleansing. For example, criminals are criminals because they are out of touch with the Word.

Now, how does the Word of God cleanse a person?

  1. The Word of God exerts a direct cleansing effect on the child of God.

Submission to the Word is equivalent to being submerged in water (Ephesians 5:26). Water has a cleansing effect, so the Word cleanses.

  1. The Word of God empowers God’s people unto righteous living.

The Word gives us the power to say “No” to sin (Psalm 119:11).

Beloved, today, I decree the release of the grace to study God’s Word consistently and be cleansed by it, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: Whatever keeps you in contact with the Word keeps you in contact with consistent cleansing.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Study the Word of God daily with the expectation of being renewed by the Word.
  2. Make demands on the cleansing power of the Word in your life.

PRAYER: Father, I receive the grace to study Your Word consistently so I can be cleansed by it. Reveal to me lights that will transform my life, as I study Your Word, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE NECESSITY OF THE WORD.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Psalm 70-72

QUOTE: The level of revelation you have in your possession determines the extent of victory you will experience in your life. Culled from “22 LAWS OF LIFE” (VOL. 2) by Dr Paul Enenche.

REFLECTION: Do you wash your life regularly with the Word of God? Or are you too busy with other things of life? Is it ever possible to be too busy to have a bath? Is it possible to be too busy to brush the teeth? There is always time to do what is of utmost importance to life.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: The Word of the Lord identify every unclean spot of your life and delete them in Jesus’ Name.

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. It is a power-packed arena where God’s Presence, Principles and Power are at work for the salvation, healing and restoration of human destinies and dignities

DCLM Daily Manna – God Never Fails

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 1 JUNE 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — God Never Fails

TOPIC: God Never Fails

TEXT: Genesis 25:1-11

1 Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.

2 And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.

3 And Jokshan begat Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.

4 And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.

5 And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac.

6 But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.

7 And these are the days of the years of Abraham’s life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years.

8 Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.

9 And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre;

10 The field which Abraham purchased of the sons of Heth: there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.

11 And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi.

KEY VERSE: “And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi.” – (Genesis 25:11)

MESSAGE:

The lyrics of a song, ‘God is never too late’ by Abraham Saturday, say:”Lord you’re never too late; Lord, you’re always on time; there is no time you arrive that is late! We just have to believe in your word.” God’s promise to Abraham that he would be the father of many nations was continued through Keturah. Through her, he had six sons, seven grandchildren and three great grand-children.

Although Abraham was well over one hundred years old at the time he married Keturah, God aided him and Sarah to give birth to the promised child, Isaac. In spite of an initial setback in Sarah giving birth to a child; and though it seemed that the promise of God to Abraham was not forthcoming, at the appointed time, God made everything possible.

Someone noted that the desire to get married or have children is a good, holy desire. But what if God’s time in fulfilling that promise is His way of giving you a greater gift? Likewise, the desire to work hard and provide for family and church is a good, holy desire. But what if instead of your dream job or promotion, God wants to fill you with a purpose that will outlast any position? What God wants for our lives is always better than the goals and dreams we could imagine for ourselves. Instead of focusing on when God’s promise will be fulfilled, try focusing on what God is teaching you as you wait.

God never stops working for our good – no matter how much time goes by. If we have faith that God holds our eternity, we can have faith that He holds our everyday. When things do not go as we plan, hope for, or pray for, we can rest in the assurance of knowing that God’s promises never fail us.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Ride the rough road with faith in the Lord.

Jehovah Rapha – Laura Abios

Jehovah Rapha - Laura Abios

Recording artiste Laura Abios returns with a new single for the year ‘Jehovah Rapha’. This is coming after having a great record year despite lockdown in 2020.  Her last release featured Ema Onyx and has since been a blessing to many.

Jehovah Rapha the healing name of God. The name Rapha is not just a healing name but one that cures, mends and repairs. The Hebraic translation of Rapha (râpâ) means “to restore” or “to heal.”

In Jeremiah 30:17 The Almighty promised to Restore our Health and Heal our wounds and in Jeremiah 33:6 He promised to Heal our Nation, restore our health and give us Peace and security.

We do not only need God for healing when we feel sick in our bodies. God’s healing is all encompassing in our lives; physically, emotionally, morally and in our relationships.

At a every point in our lives asking the healing of God in our Body, Life, Business, Ministry, and Family should be without seasons. I pray that this song will  activate these promises of God upon our lives and Nation as we pray and worship God. Only God can provide lasting healing from our brokenness.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Avoiding The Tragedy Of Borrowing

Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 31 May 2021 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Avoiding The Tragedy Of Borrowing

TOPIC: Avoiding The Tragedy Of Borrowing

Whatever you cannot afford now is not good enough for you now.

SCRIPTURE: The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. Proverbs 22:7

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Whatever you cannot afford now is not good enough for you now.

In our earlier days in Ministry, we were wondering why some ministers at that time had flashy cars but we could not afford any. At that time, what we had was an old retired 504 Peugeot car.

We saw them drive flashy cars but we never knew that they either borrowed money to get them or bought the cars on hire purchase agreements. And usually on Sunday morning, the person who gave them the car would come to church and demand, “Where is the balance of my money”.

You see, today, some of those people have all faded away. Many of them are still alive but their voices have been drowned. I know one of them, who after 27 years of ministry, was looking for house rent. This is not how to live.

Papa Oyedepo said that life is in phases and men are in sizes. You should learn to accept your status per time. Whatever you cannot afford now is not good enough for now. There is a shirt you wear now and you wear out your destiny because you cannot afford it. There is a car you are driving now that is actually driving you out of your favour.

My counsel is, order your life. It is not every time you see food that you eat. Order your life. Avoid the life of begging and borrowing.

Remember this: Whatever you cannot afford now is not good enough for now.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Go through today’s message again.
  2. Make up your mind to accept your status per time.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to accept my status per time. Help me never to beg or borrow to impress anyone, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: ABUNDANCE IN THE GLORY

QUOTE: Avoiding indebtedness is a secret of the overflow. Culled from “21 UNCOMMON KEYS TO FINANCIAL OVERFLOW” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Psalm 67-69

REFLECTION: Patience is a virtue. Patience is not weakness. Patience grants access to God-ordained inheritance. It is not how far you try to run that counts but how far you end.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Grace to be patient with God and be totally free from the borrower’s lifestyle is released for you, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna , Pastor William Kumuyi, DCLM Daily Manna, Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 31 May 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Isolate Yourself

TOPIC: Isolate Yourself

TEXT: Numbers 19:11-22

11 He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.

12 He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

13 Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.

14 This is the law, when a man dieth in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.

15 And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean.

16 And whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

17 And for an unclean person they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:

18 And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:

19 And the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.

20 But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.

21 And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even.

22 And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even.

KEY VERSE: “And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even.” – (Numbers 19:22)

MESSAGE:

During the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic that ravaged the world, a number of protocols were listed to be observed in an attempt to contain the spread. Among the measures were “social distancing”, “isolation” and “quarantine”. These became popular words in many societies whilst the scourge lasted. People, including members of family of a Covid-19 victim were not allowed to come close to their loved ones even at death. The reason for this was to prevent contact with anybody that had tested positive for the virus. So, in many countries, government took the responsibility of burying those who died of the virus infection.

There were many in the camp of Israel who were unclean because they came into contact with those who died from a plague. Though people could become unclean for other reasons, the primary reason in this context was the necessity to be cleansed because of their contact with the victims. There is need for the people of God to cleanse themselves of defiled hearts and rebellion against His law. They must also be people who possess a contrite heart before God. The passage also indicates that there is a connection between physical cleanliness and spiritual cleanliness. The physical cleanliness is an outward manifestation of one’s inner self, according to God’s law.

If citizens of a country could do everything to avoid contact with anybody or anything that could lead them to contracting the Covid-19, believers must be wary of any contact with anything that is capable of staining their garment of righteousness which could lead to eternal death.

God’s forgiveness was conditioned on the willingness of the individual to submit to the will of God. There is no grace without obedience to the will of God.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
God’s grace will not save a willful sinner.

DCLM Daily Manna – Pay Your Vow!

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 30 May 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Pay Your Vow!

TOPIC: Pay Your Vow!

TEXT: Psalm 116:10-19

10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.

12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

16 O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

18 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,

19 In the courts of the LORD’S house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.

KEY VERSE: “I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.” – (Psalm 116:14)

MESSAGE:

The Psalmist was desperate for divine deliverance. He was close to death and so made a vow to God. He would not only carry out the vow that he made when he was sick, but would do so publicly in order to proclaim that God had restored him. By paying his vows, he maintained his integrity.

A lot of people only think about vow in terms of money. Believers need to know that vows include all manner of verbal pronouncements to do something for someone in appreciation for what one has received. It is sad that many people often relapse into either forgetfulness or sheer lack of will when it comes to redeeming their vows. As believers, we must always keep to our words and ensure that our words are our bond.

Integrity is a very important virtue that is lacking in many people today, even among professing Christians. They renege in every bargain they enter into. They borrow money from other people to solve their problems but they never keep to the terms of repayment. They even try to avoid the lender.

Has God delivered you from one problem or the other for which you had made a commitment to serve Him better afterwards? Do not renege. The psalmist said it repeatedly in verses 14 and 18 for emphasis. He was at the point of death when he made the vow and when he was delivered, he made a public thanksgiving by dedicating a whole chapter to talk about it. How many people have you shared the love and mercy of God upon you and your family with?

We would be failing the integrity test if we fail to pay our vows after we must have received all the benefits from God. Defaulters can still make amends today before it is too late.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Be a man of your word; pay your vows.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Order For Wonder

Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 30 May 2021 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Order For Wonder

TOPIC: Order For Wonder

Order is the foundation for wonder.

SCRIPTURE: And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. John 2:6.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Order is the foundation for wonder.

In life, treasures are often protected with locks and accessed by keys. Similarly, there are keys to accessing supernatural supplies in God. The maintenance of order, financial order has been confirmed to be a major key to accessing supernatural supplies.

The Bible says in John Chapter Two that six water pots were set.

And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. John 2:6.

The six water pots of stone were set in an orderly pattern. It was when there was an order that the supply flowed. Supernatural supplies ride on the wings of order. Order is the foundation for wonder. If you need a financial wonder, establish a financial order. Anyone who will not organize must agonize. If your life is not organized, you must agonize. If you must experience supplies, you don’t spend money carelessly or spend on impulse.

One of the worst forms of financial disorder is the life of borrowing and indebtedness. Spending money you don’t have is emptying tomorrow before it arrives. Credit living discredits your destiny. Borrowing is a life of disorder because it is an anti-covenant operation. You shall lend to nations and you shall not borrow (Deuteronomy 28:12).

To borrow is to take yourself outside the covenant of supernatural supply. That is, you are trying to handle your life your own way. So, refuse to borrow.

Remember this: Order is the foundation for wonder.
