Greater – Adeola Akhibi

Greater - Adeola Akhibi

Gospel music minister Adeola Akhibi is out with a new single titled “Greater.

The song is an encouragement to every child of God to stand firm in his identity, and by the reason of the greater One through whom we live, move and have our being, be able to do greater works.

The song is composed of symphony, similar to an Opera. It is heavy on orchestral arrangement. Adeola’s high octave blares her confidence and Faith in the greater One who lives in her. The song will stir the same energy in the heart of the listeners.

Adeola Akhibi released “The Roar” in November, 2020. She had released the single “Siso Ni Sise” before then. Born in Osun state, She is married and blessed with two beautiful kids.

Adeola sang in the choir as a child and grew to become a music director in Church at an early age.

“I didn’t actually learn how to sing, I can say it’s an inborn thing but definitely as I grew I keep learning more about music and I’m still learning,” she said

She admires the works of Gospel music minister Cece Winans, and draws her music inspiration from Sinach, Nathaniel Bassey and Tope Alabi.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – You Must Live

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 3 March 2021 Devotional By Pastor Paul Enenche – You Must Live

TOPIC: You Must Live

You have a choice in the matter of your life and destiny.

SCRIPTURE: I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: Deuteronomy 30:19.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You have a choice in the matter of your life and destiny.

Sometime ago, I went to visit a woman who was critically ill at the hospital. Her health condition had deteriorated. At a point, they fixed an oxygen mask on her to breathe.

At this time, four of her children were not yet married, and they were in the hospital with her. I pointed at them one-by-one and told her that she must live to see them get married. She must live to see her children’s children. When I said that, there was an injection of fire into her. The matter was over! Then she said, “I will live. I will take care of my children. I must see my children get married. I must see my children’s children.” Instantly, she was healed, and under twenty-four hours, the oxygen mask was removed from her.

Today, all her children are married.

Beloved, you have a choice in the matter of your life and destiny. You are not at the mercy of the devil; the devil is at your mercy. You shall fulfil your days. You shall fulfil your destiny. You shall fulfil the purpose of God for your life, in Jesus’ Name.

But you must first make the choice to live.

Remember this: You have a choice in the matter of your life and destiny.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Refuse to bow to the forces of danger and death.
  2. Always have something to be alive for.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to always place the future before me. Help me not to bow to the forces of death and destruction, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

AMAZING FACT: Male and female eagles make a very good parenting tandem. The male’s job is to guarantee that there is food in their nests, while the female roosts at their nest for 35 days to keep their eggs warm.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: You shall fulfil God’s perfect plan and purpose for your life in the earth in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – How To Overcome The Devil

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 3 March 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F Kumuyi – How To Overcome The Devil

TOPIC: How To Overcome The Devil

TEXT: Matthew 4:1-11 (KJV)

1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

KEY VERSE: “Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil” (Matthew 4:1).

MESSAGE:

It was Martin Luther who said that “My temptations have been my Masters in Divinity”. For this militant saint, every temptation was an opportunity to do good and to show forth the glory of God who had called him to honour, glory and grace. Satan-inspired temptations are clear signs that he hates us and not a sign that God has abandoned us or that we have become weak or worldly.

Our passage for meditation reveals that Jesus was led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. Here we see divine permission for the Son of God to be tried and tested by the devil. The Apostle Paul reminds us that no temptation comes to us that God does not know of. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Going through trials and temptations is an integral part of the Christian experience. Nobody is immune to temptations. Rather, we are assured of help to go through it by the power of God who controls all forces of life. Satan’s onslaught during temptation is to make us falter and fall, but the knowledge of who God is and obedience to His word provide us the inner strength to overcome the devil.

Jesus had resounding victories over him by the effective use of the Sword of the Spirit which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17). We must do the same. Victory is sure for all who follow the Lord’s example.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Temptation lose its power when Jesus is with us.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Making The Choice To Live

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds of Destiny 11 February 2021 Devotional by Pastor Paul Enenche: Power Over – Danger, Disease And Death

Topic: Power Over – Danger, Disease And Death

When Jesus gave you power over the serpent, He also gave you power over danger.

SCRIPTURE: Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When Jesus gave you power over the serpent, He also gave you power over danger.

Earlier, we saw that God gave us power to tread on serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19). We saw that the serpent represents deception.

In our study today, we shall take a further look at more of the things that the serpent represents:

  1. Danger

The serpent represents danger. Whenever a snake is in a place, people begin to run helter-skelter because the snake is a dangerous animal. So, when Jesus gave you power over the serpent (Luke 10:19), He gave you power over danger.

  1. Disease

The serpent also represents disease. The serpent bit the children of Israel in the wilderness. Moses had to make a brazen serpent on the pole to neutralize the effect of the serpent that bit them on the ground. (Numbers 21:4-9).

You know, the symbol of the medical profession is a lifted rod with a serpent around it. The serpent represents disease. There is anti-snake venom, an injection given to people when they are bitten by snake because snake bite is a disease. Snake venom causes disease in the body and it can even progress to death. But in Christ, we have power over the serpent.

  1. Death

The serpent represents death. The serpent is a killer. Snake bites can lead to death.

I decree that you shall tread on all the forces of danger, disease and death in Jesus’ Name (Luke 10:19).

Remember this: When Jesus gave you power over serpent, He also gave you power over danger.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make up your mind to exercise your power as a child of God.
  2. Ask God for the grace to tread upon the forces of danger, disease and death.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to tread upon the forces of danger, disease and death, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: POWER TO TREAD.

QUOTE: If you need the power of God in your life, if you need the visitation and move of the Holy Spirit in your life, then Word must combine with Spirit to generate power!Culled from “GO IN THIS THY MIGHT” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Joshua 5-8

AMAZING FACT: If a lioness breeds with a male leopard, their offspring is a “leopon”. The head of a “leopon” is similar to that of a lion while the body more closely resembles a leopard.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: I decree the establishment of Your Power to thread over danger, disease and death in this season, in Jesus’ Name

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. DCLM Daily Manna – A Mate For Adam

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 1 March 2021 Devotional by Pastor W. F Kumuyi – A Mate For Adam

TOPIC: A Mate For Adam

TEXT: Genesis 2:16-25 (KJV)

16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

KEY VERSE: “And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” – (Genesis 2:23)

MESSAGE:

Marriage among humans is a universal concept. Every people, race and nation has its established ways of conducting it. As a convention, marriages seek to secure partnership, procreation and purity for two mature adults who accept to bind themselves together in it.

From the biblical standpoint, marriage is God’s idea for man’s own good and fulfilment. It was stated: “And the LORD God said, it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him” (Genesis 2:18). This shows clearly that whoever wants to get a good match of spouse should consult the Lord, the architect of marriage.

Because marriage is the bedrock of life and society, the ferocious attacks by Satan and his cohorts against this divine institution are understandable. To destroy a gigantic structure is not very difficult. All that is needed is to weaken its foundation and the damage is done. Any marriage arrangement that obviates monogamy is contrary to God’s will. Polygamy, endogamy (group marriage), concubinage and other forms of aberration in marriage such as homosexuality, lesbianism and bestiality are against the will of God and those who engage in them have invited the wrath of God against themselves.

That God provided Adam a mate shows His love, care and respect for him. Our heavenly Father is interested in how we sojourn here and who we want to share our lives with while serving Him. He guided Abraham’s servant in the marital process and chose a wife for Isaac. As God led many others before now to marry aright, He is able to guide our young people and those who rely on Him to make the best choice in marriage for them. If you fall into the category of people looking up to Him for a life partner, pray, believe and leave the choice to Him. He will not fail you.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Let God choose for you.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Two-Sided Effect Of Relationship

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 27 February 2021 Devotional By Pastor Paul Enenche – The Two-Sided Effect Of Relationship

Topic: The Two-Sided Effect Of Relationship

Having wisdom for relationship is critical to destiny fulfilment.

SCRIPTURE: Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. Proverbs 27:17.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your relationship can either facilitate your gain or guarantee your loss.

It has been established that the relationship we keep is critical to life and destiny. That is why having wisdom for relationship is critical to destiny fulfilment.

In our study today, we shall be looking at the two sides of relationship. This will guide you to relate correctly:

a. Relationship can bring you pain or pleasure (2 Samuel 13:1-6, 23-28).

One person in your life can be the reason for your pain or the reason for your pleasure.

Sometime ago, someone told me that he was invited to a church but he refused to go until he saw enough reason to go. He refused to go to church initially because the person who invited him had defrauded him before.

Beloved, you may not know the number of people who refused to go to church or probably went to hell because of someone in church who was the cause of their pain. So, your relationship can bring you pain or pleasure.

b. Relationship can facilitate your gain or guarantee your loss (Daniel 2:49, Judges 16:16-19)

There is a relationship that can make your life gainful and there is another relationship that can leave you with losses.

Sometime ago, I was talking with a man who stepped into a relationship or an association.

When I knew him some twenty years ago, he was a vibrant young man; he was on fire for God. He studied to the highest level in his field and expertise. But he told me, “Since I went into that association, I lost everything. The only thing I have not lost is my life. I am living in just a room now with plastic chairs as my furniture”.

Now, this is a man whose colleagues are comfortably making millions of Naira on a monthly basis. So, your relationship can either facilitate your gain or guarantee your loss.

Remember this: Your relationship can either facilitate your gain or guarantee your loss.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Ask God to guide you into a profitable relationship.
  2. Associate with people who can add value to your life.

DCLM Daily Manna – At Home With God’s Spirit

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 27 February 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F Kumuyi – At Home With God’s Spirit

TOPIC: At Home With God’s Spirit

TEXT: Luke 4:15-22 (KJV)

15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

22 And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son?

Key Verse: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised” (Luke 4:18).

MESSAGE:

A songwriter once wrote:
“There is vict’ry within my soul,
For the Spirit with me abides…”

It is a wonderful privilege to have the glorious Spirit of Christ abiding within us. Gracious acts of God are manifested by individuals who court and secure the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

We were told in this passage concerning Christ: “And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth…” (Luke 4:15, 22). We impact other people’s lives more effectively when the Spirit of truth, love, courage, power and might indwells us.

Under this state, our life and words would help and heal; our action would be bold and meek; and our hearts, like flower, would open its fragrance when the sun shines. We receive power to prevail where others fail. We also enjoy power over sin, Satan and the world, and receive grace to cherish all things good. Besides, the Holy Spirit empowers us to be bold in declaring the gospel of salvation to sinners and backsliders. He sustains and makes us live a godly, virtuous and glorious life even during persecution, pain and trials.

It is beautiful, as believers, to work in the Spirit, operate in the gift of the Holy Spirit and reflect all His gracious fruits. This is the will of God for the militant and jubilant army of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are to be agile, alert and at home with the Holy Spirit – the Leader, Guide and Comforter of all heaven-bound saints.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A Spirit-filled life impacts other lives.
