SCRIPTURE: And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. – Habakkuk 2:2.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your life is not dynamic until it is specific and definite in pursuit.
I welcome you to the first day of this eleventh month of the year 2019. I prophesy on your life and family that you shall escape all the traps of the enemy for the rest of the year and beyond. In this eleventh month, you shall receive your eleventh-hour miracles, in Jesus’ Name.
Now, it is confirmed that in the journey of life, there are battles and until you are armed for the journey, victory would not be possible. The truth is, the journey of life requires vision, and so is the journey of this month of November.
Get this: There can be no great future without a clear vision. Travelling without vision is ending without distinction. To be blind mentally is to be denied destiny. Your life is not dynamic until it is specific and definite in pursuit. What you can see determines what God will give (Gen. 15:13); what does not occur to you cannot occur for you; what is not clear to you cannot be there for you. What your heart cannot comprehend, your hands cannot apprehend. So, a clear vision of destination arms you for the journey of life.
My counsel is, never run out of vision for your life. To be empty of vision is to be empty in life. But you shall succeed in Jesus’ Name.
REMEMBER THIS: Your life is not dynamic until it is specific and definite in pursuit.

MESSAGE:
”For the called, the vision of God is not destructive but safety and joy. We meet the unveiling, not only of infinite holiness, but also of infinite love. The vision of divine glory was a wonder and delight and the place of vision became a place of feasting” (Rev H. T. Robjohns). It is usually believed that no mortal can see God and live. But it is different when it is God Himself that invites you into His presence. What a glorious experience this usually is!
Moses and selected elders of Israel had this very rare and unique privilege. The Lord Himself had invited them to come up to Him. But like we would do when we receive a call from a top and very important personality – we would have a clean wash and make ourselves ready for the visit – Moses ensured that he and the others were spiritually ready. The Lord welcomed them with delight. He made them see His majestic glory and holiness.
In like manner, the Lord delights we see Him each time we come into His presence. We are not to dread His presence but derive great delight whenever we come before Him. Our personal devotion period, fellowship, worship and time of personal and corporate retreats are great moments that God uses to reveal His presence and glory. No matter how melodious our praises may sound, if our lives are not clean and holy, God cannot inhabit such worship. Holiness is revealed in our readiness to accept and obey His revealed word. This is what it takes to see God.
Seeing God should not be a once-and-for-all experience. It should be our daily delight and privilege. This can truly be if we maintain a daily life of holiness and obedience to His word. What a glorious delight!

You cannot put God first and come last in life; you cannot trust in God and rust in life.
SCRIPTURE: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. – Matthew 6:33.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You cannot put God first and come last in life; you cannot trust in God and rust in life.
The God-first mentality is the mentality that makes God the number one priority of one’s existence.
It is the mentality that places kingdom priority ahead of earthly and personal priorities. And when God sees a person who is more passionate about God’s kingdom than his personal pursuit, God baptizes such a person with the mantle needed to impact his generation.
Get this: To be interested in the interests of God is to be treasured by God. You cannot trust in God and rust in life. You cannot put God first and come last in life.
The reason why many people crash in life is that they lack the God- first mentality. It is one thing to be blessed by God, but it is another thing to realize continuously that God is your Blesser. When money enters your hands, what do you do with it first? It determines whether or not you have the God-first mentality.
Beloved, in your life’s assignments and endeavours, make up your mind to exist with the God-first mentality. Let God be the Centre of your existence.

Key Verse: “Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure” – (Hebrew 11:19).
MESSAGE:
The amazing story of Charles Blondin, a famous French tightrope walker, is a wonderful illustration of what true faith is. Blondin’s greatest fame came on September 14, 1860, when he became the first person to cross a tightrope stretched 11,000 feet (over a quarter of a mile) across the mighty Niagara Falls. People from both Canada and America came from miles away to see this great feat. He walked across, 160 feet above the falls, several times, each time with a different daring feat – once in a sack, on stilts, on a bicycle, in the dark and blindfolded.
Then at one point, he asked for the participation of a volunteer. Blondin suddenly stopped and addressed his audience: “Do you believe I can carry a person across in this wheelbarrow?” The crowd enthusiastically yelled, “Yes! You are the greatest tightrope walker in the world. We believe!” “Okay,” said Blondin, “Who wants to get into the wheelbarrow.” As far as the Blondin story goes, no one did at the time! This unique story illustrates a real life picture of what faith actually is. The crowd watched these daring feats. They said they believed. But… their actions proved they truly did not believe.
A major ingredient of faith is works, that is obedience (James 2:17). The passage today, examines the ingredient that authenticates the Christian faith. This is exactly what Abraham exhibited.
True faith like Abraham’s always obeys God without questioning or doubting. This is the only evidence to show that you believe and love Him. Obedience to His word as contained in the Scriptures will attract innumerable and everlasting blessing into your life. Let your actions of faith speak the loudest.
