TOPIC: The Necessity Of The Blessing (Seeds Of Destiny 2 April 2023)

SCRIPTURE: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1:28

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Blessing of God is a non-negotiable requirement for a fulfilled life and destiny.

MESSAGE:

The Blessing of God is a vital necessity in the life of man. The Blessing of God is a non-negotiable requirement for a fulfilled life and destiny. At the beginning of creation, what God gave to man was the Blessing, and not money (Gen. 1:28).

Now, why is the Blessing necessary?
i. The Blessing imparts the supernatural force that positions people for generational influence and impact.
(Gen. 1:26).

When God said, “…replenish the earth…” what He meant was, “impact the earth.”

The Blessing was what happened to Abraham that made him a generational reference point.

The Blessing happened to Isaac, and made him so great that the whole nation of the Philistines envied him.

The Blessing was what turned Jacob, a person, into Israel, a nation.

You see, when you are blessed, your generation cannot claim ignorance of your existence. Your generation cannot deny the impact of your life.

ii. The Blessing places the blessed in realms of authority and dominion (Gen. 1:28).
In Gen. 1:28, we understand that when you begin with the Blessing, you would end with dominion.

A blessed man must end in dominion; a blessed person must end in authority and control. There is nothing that can stop a blessed man from rising to the top. No devil can keep a blessed person down.

iii. The Blessing empowers the blessed to exist as barrier breakers (Genesis 11:31-12:1-4).
The Blessed are obstacle crossers, limit breakers and territory takers. The Blessing made Abraham to cross the limitation of his father (Genesis 11:31-12:1-4).

iv. The Blessing positions the blessed in realms of abundance and greatness.
The Blessing of God makes rich and adds no sorrow (Proverbs 10:22). Poverty and the Blessing are diametrically opposed, mutually exclusive, and diagonally antagonistic. Anywhere one is found, the other must be absent. It is either poverty is oppressing your life or the blessing is reigning in your life. And if the Blessing is reigning in your life, you cannot be poor.

Beloved, I decree that the Blessing is your portion from today, and even forever, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: The Blessing of God is a non-negotiable requirement for a fulfilled life and destiny.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Go through today’s message again thoughtfully and prayerfully.
2. Make demands on God for the establishment of the Blessing in your life.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to fulfil the requirements that will provoke the Blessing in my life. Deliver me from any curse working against my life and destiny, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
