TOPIC: Your Passion And Your Portion (Seeds Of Destiny 10 October 2023)

SCRIPTURE: And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel. Acts 7:23

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If you drive in the vehicle of passion, you can reach your portion.

MESSAGE:

During the early days of our Ministry, I travelled to one of the States in the Northern Nigeria to print handbills. In those days, I used to go and print handbills myself. My wife and I would stand on the street, walk round, and distribute the handbills.

A pastor who saw me then told me years later, “The first time I saw you come to town to print handbills, I could see the passion in your eyes. I saw you as a man who was not going to fail.”

There are many who have not dared anything because the fire they carry is not enough. There are many who have not dared any risk. They have not been able to take any step because they are bankrupt of passion.

Beloved, the way you are carrying your life now shows where you will land tomorrow. The passion with which you are handling your destiny, the assignment of your life shows how you will end. But you will end well in Jesus Name.

Passion affects vision. The more passionate you are, the more the risk you are ready to take, the more dangers you are ready to confront. The more “lions” and “Goliaths” you are ready to pull down, if there is sufficient passion.

Please take note of these points about Passion:

1. Passion of heart is clue to purpose of life. Whatever is a passion in your heart is connected to the purpose of your life. Hence, passion is a foundation for vision.
2. Your passion is your vehicle to your portion in life. If you drive in the vehicle of passion, you will reach your portion. That is why passionless people are “portionless” people. (Nehemiah 1:3, 4, Acts 7:23).

Beloved, how passionate are you in doing what God has committed to you?

REMEMBER THIS: If you drive in the vehicle of passion, you will reach your portion.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Trust God to reveal the purpose of your existence to you.
2. Pay attention to the directions of your passion (the right passion), it is a clue to your purpose in life.
3. Inject passion into whatever you are doing.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to be passionately committed to my personal and Kingdom assignments. I receive my portion in life, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
