The Knowledge Of Christ ~ Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor

Topic: The Knowledge Of Christ [Thursday 9, February 2017]

“That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of his suffering being made conformable unto his death.” (Phil. 3: 10)

Premature death, sickness and disease, misfortune and failure are products of pending judgments. Most times they are a heritage from your mother and father. But what connects you to God is stronger than what connects you to your parents. You must discern this and give Him His place in your life.

Long before a thing happens in the physical, it has been concluded in the spiritual. This year, if you must have the strength to overcome, you must be ready to live for Christ, not in the manner you did in the previous years. As close as Paul was to God, he still yearned to know God more.

Caleb at 85 said he still had the strength of a 40 year old. This is not natural by all human standards but that was how he felt. Something must have helped him retain his strength. To get the Caleb type of strength, you must take care of the body of Christ, the church. Work with your spirit, soul, and body for God.

As you walk with God all the days of your life, you will live your full life here on earth and your strength will not fail you in your old age. Sickness, disease, or infirmity will not cut your life short. Those who wish you dead will see you grow old. Some of them will have to die for you to live. I speak to every poison that the enemy has placed in your body. By reason of the sacrifice of Jesus, I command that poison to come out of you, in the name of Jesus.

WORD OF WISDOM: You are not what your family tells you but what God shows you.

PRAYER/CONFESSION: LORD, in the name of Jesus, empower me with strength to fight and win the battles of life.
