TREM Devotional – Be Fully Persuaded

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

TREM Devotional 5 January 2022 Daily Devotional By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Be Fully Persuaded

TOPIC: Be Fully Persuaded

‘’For she said If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole’’. (Mark 5:28 KJV)

In this account of the woman with the issue of blood, multitudes were pressing in on Jesus. You will agree with me that with that kind of scenario several people touched Him. However, it was only the touch from this woman that sparked a supernatural healing miracle of a disease that had lasted 12 years.

What was the difference? The woman was fully persuaded. She was convinced that it will happen. She was so persuaded that she could no longer be dissuaded.

This woman said to herself ‘’If I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole’’ this woman must have said that several times to herself to be fully persuaded.

The challenge a lot of people have is that when they confess their faith, they are not confessing it to themselves to be fully persuaded. Rather they are saying it to sort of commit God. They are indirectly saying to God, see everyone has heard me, you better do something to avoid embarrassment.

Beloved, God is already irrevocably committed as long as he has said it. God cannot be embarrassed. He is God! His word is sure. Once He has said it, as far as He is concerned, it is settled. God does not need to prove Himself to you or any other person. Nothing you do or do not do can change Him. He is perfectly committed to His word.

You are the one that needs to be fully persuaded, it is a done deal. So speak the word again and again to yourself until you become one with it and be assured, it will come to pass. Again, I say, it is a done deal!

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Channels, Not Containers

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 5 January 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Channels, Not Containers

TOPIC: Channels, Not Containers

SCRIPTURE: And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. 2 Kings 4:6

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God does not bless stagnant ponds; He blesses flowing rivers.

Many years ago, my wife and I held our hands together and prayed to God to make us a depot of His Blessing. Our prayer to God was that God should make us the channel where His Blessings can flow through. And God answered that prayer. God’s Blessing has been flowing through our lives to bless many other lives.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THIS: God does not bless containers; He blesses channels. The destiny of a container is limited. In the same manner, you are limited if you are only looking for what to carry or what to contain.

2 Kings 4:5-6 says:
So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.

God does not bless stagnant ponds; He blesses flowing rivers. When you make up your mind to be a flowing river to your family members and to your generation, you will never know the end of resources.

Beloved, you don’t need to be a millionaire before you can be a blessing; start from where you are, with what you have. For example, you don’t need to wait to be a blessing to people when you have nine suits to give. You can start with giving out one tie, one shirt or even one hundred naira and before you know it, you will see God blessing you beyond measure.

REMEMBER THIS: God does not bless stagnant ponds; He blesses flowing rivers.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Refuse to be only a container of God’s Blessing.
  2. Distribute what you have to the needy for God to do more through you.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I ask that You make me a channel of Your Blessings and not a container, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: WISDOM FOR SUPERNATURAL FINANCES (PART 1).

QUOTE: The man who spends everything is a permanent candidate for poverty. The woman who spends everything is never a candidate for the blessings of God. Culled from “21 UNCOMMON KEYS TO FINANCIAL OVERFLOW” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Genesis 21-25

REFLECTION: Living for self is living for survival; Living beyond self is living as a Blessing. No one is truly blessed until they are a blessing.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: The Lord, this year, make you a Blessing to your generation in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – What Is Missing?

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 5 January 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — What Is Missing?

TOPIC: What Is Missing?

TEXT: Psalm 15:1-5 (KJV)

15 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.

4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

KEY VERSE: “LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?” (Psalm 15:1).

MESSAGE:

In William Shakespeare’s King Henry IV, a king walking about the palace wonders why he is denied sleep when his lowly placed subjects are enjoying deep repose. As he paces the royal grounds observing the less materially endowed slumbering “in smoky cribs… in loathsome beds”, he lashes at the gods for bypassing him with all his greatness to give sweet sleep to the “vile” of his kingdom. With all his splendour, the king still lacked what riches could not procure.

Similarly, David, the great king of Israel, also discovered that despite all he had in royal grandeur, none could give him access to the greatest aspiration of man – eternal stay with God in heaven. He posed fundamental questions like the king in Shakespeare’s play. Why would a king, having all that riches could procure, not gain automatic entry to the presence of the Almighty?

The holy God would only welcome he “that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, [who] speaketh the truth in his heart”. Such person “doeth (not) evil to his neighbour… sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not… putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent”.

We must not be deceived by the short-lived pageantry of prosperity, which does not possess the power to take us into the unspeakable joy of heaven. Man, on his own, cannot provide these missing virtues. He must source the power to get them from outside him and his resources. Only in Jesus, the Son of God, can we obtain the grace and power to meet the requirement. He is wise who penitently comes to Christ to fit him for eternal life.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Nobody gets to heaven by accident or with earthly qualification.

THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:

CAC Living Water Daily Devotional – Who Won’t Latch On This Opportunity?

CAC Living Water Daily Devotional

CAC Living Water Daily Devotional |  Tuesday, January 4, 2022 | Who Won’t Latch On This Opportunity?

Topic: Who Won’t Latch On This Opportunity?

Date: Tuesday, January 4, 2022

Read: Exodus 32:9-14

Exodus 32:9-14  And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:

Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.

And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?

Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.

Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.

And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

MEMORISE: Now therefore, let Me alone, that My wrath  may burn hot against them and I may consume them. And I will make of you a great nation (Exodus 32:10).

EXPOSITION:

The great and gracious God had graciously elected Israel as His o special people (Exod. 19:3). They however grew to become continually and recalcitrantly ungrateful and stiff-necked, despite all that the Lord had graciously done for them bringing them out of the land of slavery and leading them to the Promised Land (Exod. 32:9). They had offended their Deliverer and Defender, maximally. God was so pained by their foolishness. Just imagine how offended you would be, if someone you so love disappoints you so sheepishly/foolishly and repeatedly.

God was so grieved that He wanted to extirpate them. He made this known to Moses, His friend, with the promise to make the latter a great nation in place of the always ever-complaining, insatiable Israelites (Exod. 32:10). Any other person could have latched on such a promise Make me great in that manner? What a once-in-lifetime opportunity! Imagine what would have become of Moses had it been that he allowed himself to be made into a great nation. However, what do you think would have become of the Israelites (cf. Exod. 32:11ff)? Wouldn’t it have been selfishness on Moses part, had he consented to this lofty divine offer?

Moses response to this divine proposal is a challenge to us (v. II 13). Instead of thanking God for the offer like anyone of us would have done, he chose to intercede for the erring people, so that God would continue to shower His mercy on them. This shows Moses level of selflessness. Would you have done that if you had such an opportunity

Don’t you think it was God’s way of testing Moses himself his genuine love for the people he was called to lead, and the level or extent of the sacrifice he could make for those people of God he was privileged to lead? Dear devout, you are receiving the same challenge today God expects that you won’t be selfish in leading everyone He commits to your care at home, in church, in your workplace, in the society, and everywhere else. Receive the grace not to fall Him, in Jesus name. Amen.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Lord, purge me of every trace of selfishness as lead Your people committed to my care, in Jesus name.

2 Lord, forgive me at every juncture I have prioritised my interest at the detriment of those You have given me to lead.

3. Lord, help our leaders at all levels to prioritise the interests of the led, the way Your want it.

TREM Devotional – Happy Anniversary To All Tremites

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

TREM Devotional 4 January 2022 Daily Devotional By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Happy Anniversary To All Tremites

TOPIC: Happy Anniversary To All Tremites

“So teach us to number our days, That we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” Psalm 90:12 (KJV)

Today, I especially take time out to celebrate all proud and living TREMites across the globe. I say to you Happy Anniversary. On this day 41 years ago, TREM was born.

When the Lord gave me the mandate to start this Ministry in 1981, the ministry had no form or comeliness that any should desire, but I heard God. It did not look like it, but I heard God and I decided to obey despite the stiff opposition I faced, but today see what the Lord has done. We are not where we want to be yet, but certainly, we are not where we were. God has taken us from mushroom to “muchroom” for the Lord has made room for us, whereof we are glad.

As we celebrate today, it is also another opportunity to call on all proud and living TREMites wherever you are not to rest on your oars. The race is still on, the assignment is great, and God has found us worthy to commit this huge responsibility into our hands and I know we cannot fail.

In TREM, we are not in competition with anyone or Ministry, we have a clear mandate from God to raise a people that will make a formidable impact in their world for the Kingdom. This assignment is still very relevant. There is a lot to do. So, I challenge you to join hands with me, wherever you are, to build the Kingdom of God.

Today, like you very well know, location is no longer a barrier, wherever you are, you can be relevant to this work. You have a part to play, and my prayer is that your seat will not be vacant. Don’t be a TREMite by word of mouth only, find out what you can do and play your part. The work is huge, and you are part of the vision. If you do not know where you can plugin, I will be delighted to help you. Send a mail to tremglobaloffice@trem.org and a response will get to you. Together we will make a formidable impact in our world for the Kingdom.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Service – A Key To The Blessing

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 4 January 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Service – A Key To The Blessing

TOPIC: Service – A Key To The Blessing

SCRIPTURE: And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. Exodus 23:25.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Service is key to accessing the Blessing of the Lord.

Service to God is a major activator of the Blessing Covenant. Service is key to accessing the Blessing of the Lord.

This is confirmed in Exodus 23:25:
And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Serving God with all your heart this year is key to experiencing the Blessing of the LORD.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 says:
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

Beloved, if your hand finds God’s work to do, do it with your energy. If you find yourself in the sanctuary to work for God, do the work with all your energy. Do the service of soul-winning with urgency.

Now, how are you expected to serve God? What is the kind of service that is acceptable to God?

  1. Service must be done in sincerity (Joshua 24:14).
Serve in truth. Do not be fake; be real. Be genuine. Be authentic. Be sincere.
  2. Service must be done in humility (Acts 20:18-19).
Service must be done without arrogance or pomposity. People who are not humble cannot serve God.
  3. Service must be done in uprightness and godly fear.

You cannot be cheating at your place of work, lying stealing, smoking, drinking, womanizing or ‘manising’ and then claim to serve God.

Service must be done in uprightness for it to be acceptable to God and profitable to man.

Hebrews 12:28 says:
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
Make up your mind to serve God with all your heart to access the Blessing of God.

REMEMBER THIS: Service is key to accessing the Blessing of the Lord.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make the service of God your priority this year.
  2. Make up your mind to serve God acceptably.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to serve You acceptably, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE COVENANT OF SERVICE (PART 1).

QUOTE: Let service to God and His kingdom be the reason why you live. Culled from “15 KINGDOM STRATEGIES FOR SURVIVAL” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Genesis 16-20.

REFLECTION:
“For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” Phil. 1:21. The meaning is, if it is not Christ, there is no use living. Life is worthless and meaningless without Christ.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION:
May service to God distinguish you this year in Jesus’ Name.

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. DCLM Daily Manna – Omniscient God

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 4 January 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Omniscient God

TOPIC: Omniscient God

TEXT: Psalm 10:1-11 (KJV)

10 Why standest thou afar off, O Lord? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?

2 The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

3 For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the Lord abhorreth.

4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

5 His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.

6 He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.

7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

8 He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.

9 He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.

10 He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.

11 He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.

KEY VERSE: “Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?” (Psalm 10:1).

MESSAGE:

The wicked, steeped in his ignorance, sin and pride, is unaware that the Lord is not in hiding, but rather sitting atop the affairs of man and his environment. Just as earthlings do not perceive the great movement of their planet, so are the wicked unconscious that God is fully in charge of the world and its activities.

In His wisdom, God allows life and nature to continue their normal course. He sees the cruelty of evil people against the innocent. He also hears the complaints of the latter, who wonders whether the Lord is hiding Himself “in times of trouble”. Be assured that God still cares. He will intervene in your situation.

Increasingly, the world is given to the idolatry of technological advances, wealth and lust, and becoming more and more atheistic. People reason that it does not add up to crave for an “abundant life” hereafter when you already have a pleasurable and high life here on earth. They are governed by materialism, which will not last because there is an appointed time for the Lord to step in to redress things. He will defend His people and fulfil His plan.

As it is characteristic with the Lord, He will always laugh last in His ways with man. He will judge the unrepentant who shun His salvation plan. He will make good His promise to “punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity…” (Isaiah 13:11). Only those who repent genuinely before the judgment day will escape His wrath. The moment to do so is now – time is running out.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: No hiding place for the wicked.

Lyrics: Thank You By Purist Ogboi Ft. Evans Ogboi & Faith Child

Verse 1
You woke up this morning
To a brand new day
For the breath in lungs
Causing my heart beat
I do not take for granted
For the gift of life
For the air I breathe
A roof over my head
Food on my table
Oh oh oh oh

Chorus
oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
Thank you for a brand new day
Thank you for a brand new week
Thank you for a brand new month
Thank you for a brand new year
Thank you for a brand new day
A brand new week
A brand new month
A brand new year
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

Verse 2
Counting my blessings
For the gift of life
Friends and family
For every thing I’ve been through
You never leave me nor Forsake me
And for the rest of my life
I praise you
oh oh oh oh

Rap
Heaven, heaven, heaven, I got heaven on my mind. Every time I say God is good, the people say all the time.
I give thanks in the morning, I give praise in the evening, I got more than a plateful, I’m grateful daily I’m eating.
I say my grace at the table, counting my blessings my heavenly Father is faithful, even when we go awol
Who am I that you’re mindful of me look at what He did, let me share my testimony Apostle will hear of this!
Amen, hallelujah hands up in the sanctuary, dancing with no shackles on my ankles got that Mary Mary, praise is necessary, so we praise Him every, moment that we’re breathing even when life is deceiving
I know you will never find a God like this, and I know you’ll never find a love like this.
So let me show my appreciation
To the one that will keep on chasing
Til we come back to seeking his face like woah

Bridge
Lord we are grateful
You’ve been so faithful
You’re a good good father 3x
Ooooohhhh
