DCLM Daily Manna – Rejection Of The Cornerstone

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 23 December 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Rejection Of The Cornerstone

TOPIC: Rejection Of The Cornerstone

TEXT: Mark 12:1-12

1 And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.

2 And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.

3 And they caught him, and beat him, and sent him away empty.

4 And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they cast stones, and wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully handled.

5 And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some.

6 Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son.

7 But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.’

8 And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.

9 What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.

10 And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:

11 This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

12 And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.

KEY VERSE: “And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner.” – (Mark 12:10)

MESSAGE:

In this parable, Christ spoke about the vineyard, husbandmen and the servants. The parable is about Israel’s rejection of Jesus. God is the Owner of the vineyard and He expects fruits from it. The vineyard is Israel and the husbandmen are the religious leaders of Israel. The servants sent are prophets of God throughout the history of Israel. The Son is Jesus Christ, who they killed; thereby fulfilling the Scriptures.

The story reveals the husbandmen’s confrontation with the Owner of the vineyard. The Owner wielded His well-known ancient attributes of patience, perseverance and love in response. Repeatedly, the husbandmen rejected the overtures of the Owner and maltreated His servants “beating some and killing some”. In His final attempt to make the husbandmen see reason, He sent His only Son, hoping that “they will reverence [Him]”. Instead, they decided to inherit the vineyard by killing the Son.

This was a prophecy concerning Jesus’ treatment and rejection by the Jewish leaders. He was rejected by men but was glorified by the Father and made the head Corner stone. Though He knew He would be killed by the leaders of Israel, He was bold and courageous in adversity and still fulfilled His mission.

As followers of Jesus, we must have the same courage to preach, stand for the truth and defend the doctrines of the Bible until the end. Those who accept the Cornerstone are called into His marvellous light and all concerning them will be fulfilled. But doom and damnation await all unrepentant sinners who contemn the salvation of God. It is better for them to repent now as the love and mercy of God is still available.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
If you reject Him as Saviour, you will meet Him as Judge.

CAC Living Water Daily Devotional – God At Work

CAC Living Water Daily Devotional

CAC Living Water Daily Devotional |  Wednesday, December 22, 2021 | God At Work

Topic: God At Work

Date: Wednesday, December 22, 2021

Read: Job 3:11-26

Job 3:11-26  Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?

Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck?

For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest,

With kings and counsellors of the earth, which built desolate places for themselves;

Or with princes that had gold, who filled their houses with silver:

Or as an hidden untimely birth I had not been; as infants which never saw light.

There the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest.

There the prisoners rest together; they hear not the voice of the oppressor.

The small and great are there; and the servant is free from his master.

Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul;

Which long for death, but it cometh not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures;

Which rejoice exceedingly, and are glad, when they can find the grave?

Why is light given to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in?

For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters.

For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.

MEMORISE:

The preparations of the heart belong to man, But the answer of the tongue is from the Lord (Proverb 16:1).

EXPOSITION

What are you facing? What is that troubling your soul that makes you think God is unfaithful to you? Whatever may be the situation in your life. God knows about it, and has allowed it for specific purpose, and for His own glory and your own better life. Jesus was once asked who sinned, this man or his parents that he was born blind (John 9:2). It is customary of man to associate all mischief to wrong doing. On the contrary, Jesus told his questioners that the man’s situation is for the works of God to be revealed in his life.

Like Job, do not be angry at God because He is not aflicting you because He is angry with you. He is working everything together for your own good. Though what Job went through was not easy, but if he was privy to the debate or competition going on in the heavenlies because of him, he would have loved to endure his calamities and praise God for thinking highly of him. Thank God he eventually did not curse God or offend with his mouth.

Yes, you have prayed about it and God seems to be far away, He even would not do as you requested because you either pray amiss, or not pray according to His will. Prayer that God answers are born out of what He has in mind. You can’t outwit or out-think God. Begin to understand what is going on in God’s mind to get what God has for you. Learn to wait on God for what He is doing, not just what you want Him to do for you. Also understand that there is difference between your needs and your wants. God will definitely satisfy your needs and your excesses He may look away from. God will help you as you patiently wait for God’s work to be revealed in your life.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Lord let me see Your work in my life and patiently wait for its manifestation.

2. Lord, I submit my will under Your own will.

3. Lord, let Your knowledge fill all our hearts and we must be ready to walk in Your will.

TREM Devotional – Expect Only Good In Your Life

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

TREM Devotional 22 December 2021 Daily Devotional By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Expect Only Good In Your Life

TOPIC: Expect Only Good In Your Life (TREM Devotional 22 December 2021)

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” James 1:17 KJV

It is wrong for a believer to expect the worst in his own life; it’s an insult to the finished work of Christ. Every good and perfect gift comes from your Father. How then will He give you bad gifts? Beloved, you are a child of God. When you expect the wrong things to happen to you, what you are saying in effect is you have more faith in Satan’s activities than in what Jesus has done for you.

God has promised that He will only do you good. “And I will make an everlasting covenant with them that I will not turn away from them, to do them good…” (Jeremiah 32:40 KJV). This is your heritage in Christ! Have expectations of good always! The scripture in Romans 5:20 says that: “…where sin abounded, grace did much more abound” (KJV). What sin did in the life of man brought sickness, pains, lack and disappointment. However, God’s grace, through His son, did a much more superior job. That automatically places you on a superior platform.

Scientists have discovered that when you begin to think and speak good things to yourself, nature and creation will begin to gravitate to you to bring the good things. The Bible says the earth is filled with God’s goodness; so, when next you begin to expect and speak good things to yourself, even when it doesn’t look like it, creation will begin to gravitate to make what you are saying work.

Beloved, expect only good in your life. Even if you failed yesterday, expect that this is another day. Today will be different, customers will come. They will give you the visa you are expecting. You will get the capital you are looking for. The ideas, the connections and the vision helpers will come. Expect good things because you are in Christ. He was slain so that you can receive what you couldn’t receive.

Worship leader, songwriter and artist Mack Brock hopes his new single “The Love of Jesus” will remind us that we are loved.

A gorgeous worship tune, Brock reminds that “Oh, the love of Jesus, boundless and free/Oh, the love of Jesus, poured over me/How it’s captured my soul, how sweet just to know/Oh, the love of Jesus, is all I’ll ever need.”

“My hope for this song is that when you listen to it you would feel completely and abundantly loved by Jesus. Since the beginning of time, when God was creating the heavens and the earth, the stars in the sky, he was thinking of you and he loved you. Revival – Little Egypt Worship

Revival - Little Egypt Worship

Little Egypt Worship, a new worship ministry created by music industry veteran Jermaine Bollinger, has released its first single “Revival” to digital platforms.

Revival,” written and produced by Bollinger, is available for streaming and purchase, with a radio single set for early 2022.

The new worship group — and the new single — are the result of a time of waiting in Bollinger’s life, he says.

“I had just stepped down from my job and concluded my previous ministry,” Bollinger explains. “Among personal issues and tragedies, things were at an all-time low me. To be honest, the circumstances navigated me to a pretty dark place. I became frustrated with my life, my situation, with God. I found myself asking, ‘What is all of this for?’”

Soon after, Bollinger was diagnosed with nodes on his vocal chords, a situation that meant he had to change his life and lifestyle to be able to continue singing.

“I was looking for a change, an awakening, a revival,” Bollinger shares.

It was during this season while trying to refocus that Bollinger wrote a song about change, change in his heart, in his life and, ultimately, change for the world.

“It seems like we’ve been spinning our wheels with this pandemic in particular,” Bollinger says, “History will remember this time in textbooks and on the internet. My only hope is that something beautiful can be birthed from this terrible situation the world finds itself in.”

“The question that will be asked by our descendants years from now is, ‘How did the church respond?’ I wanted to make sure,” Bollinger says, “I was used by God to do exactly what He wanted me to do, when He wanted me to do it.”

Little Egypt Worship, based in Illinois, is not affiliated with a specific church. The group is available for morning services, church events, youth events and special gatherings for congregations and the community.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – What Have You In The House?

Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 22 December 2021 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: What Have You In The House?

TOPIC: What Have You In The House?

What you have may look like nothing until God moves on it.

SCRIPTURE: And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. 2Kings 4:2

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What you have may look like nothing until God moves on it.

Our anchor scripture is an episode that resulted from the story of a prophet that I believe failed to practice the covenant. Hence, he ended in debt and left liabilities behind for his family (Deuteronomy 28:12).

Now, when this prophet’s widow met with prophet Elisha who had the answer to her misery, the question Elisha asked her was ‘What have you in the house?’ Today, we are going to look at three key thoughts on this life-changing question.

  1. Everyone has something in the house. This is the meaning: There is no empty human being on the face of the earth. You may be saying pastor, but you are talking about a house. Yes! You are a house. We are God’s building; our body is the temple of the Holy Ghost (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). And Elisha was saying in essence that every single house has something inside. Perhaps you have been lied to by the devil that everyone else is gifted but you are not. This is to encourage you – there is something in you.
  2. Until what is in your house is revealed, most times, it is not discerned.

There was something in the house that this woman never knew was there until it was pointed out. Moses had a rod in his hand; He did not know the implication of that rod until it was revealed (Exodus 4:2-3).

  1. What you have may look like nothing until God takes it over.

What you have may look like nothing until God moves on it. Five loaves and two fishes were taken over by the Master and their potentials exploded.

Beloved, pay closer attention to what you have.

Remember this: What you have may look like nothing until God moves on it

ASSIGNMENT(S):

  1. Ask God to reveal the deposits of your life that will cause drastic impact in your generation.
  2. Look inside you, you will discover a treasure from God within you.
  3. Cultivate the habit of spending quality time in God’s Presence because hidden potentials are released in God’s Presence.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: WHAT HAVE YOU IN YOUR HOUSE?

PRAYER: Father, reveal to me the potentials that You have deposited in me. Help me to deploy them maximally in order to impact my generation and bring glory to Your Name, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DAILY BIBLE READING: 1 John 1-3

QUOTE: To really succeed in life, you must mobilise your life’s resources – gifts, favour, opportunities, wisdom, etc. Culled from 365 WISDOM CAPSULES by Dr Paul Enenche.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: The Lord open your eyes in this season to see His deposits in your life in Jesus’ Name.

REFLECTION: Many times, what we take for granted is what has been designed by God to prevent us from being grounded.

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. It is a power-packed arena where God’s Presence, Principles and Power are at work for the salvation, healing and restoration of human destinies and dignities

DCLM Daily Manna – Hidden Wisdom

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 22 December 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Hidden Wisdom

TOPIC: Hidden Wisdom

TEXT: 1 Corinthians 2:6-16 (KJV)

6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.

KEY VERSE: “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory” – (1 Corinthians 2:7)

MESSAGE:

The Lord in His unparalleled graciousness gave Solomon the freedom to ask what he wanted. In utter self-abasement, Solomon was excited, not by passion for greatness or lust for riches, but by a desire to do God’s will and lead others in the path of righteousness. He asked for wisdom. Little did he know that that humble request would open floodgates to all other blessings he would need for life. With God’s gift of wisdom came knowledge, understanding, discernment, riches, honour and worldwide fame.

From the passage, we see the emphasis on wisdom, but not the wisdom of this world; it is the wisdom of God. It was not revealed to the princes of this world but unto believers by the Spirit. Believers who love God stand the chance to inherit “the things which God hath prepared for them that love him”.

It is noteworthy that the Bible inserts a condition in this revelation. God will only reveal deep things to those who really love Him. Loving Him makes us to accept what He says about us and to respond to His love by believing, trusting and serving Him. This opens the door for the Spirit of God to indwell us. Then we may receive all that God has promised us as individuals or families.

God’s words teach us wisdom for successful living while His Spirit gives us the impartation of the gift of wisdom. The infilling of the Holy Spirit is also basic to the full manifestation of the gift of wisdom in our lives. How we need this wonderful wisdom for practical daily living and exploits in God’s kingdom. Ask today and you will receive.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
You need the wisdom of God to enjoy His inheritance.

Make it your home

Lyrics: Your Name Is Great By Olapeju

Your name is great
Your name is great
Your name is great
Jesus is Your name
Your name is great
Your name is great
Your name is great
Jesus is Your name
Glory to Your name
Honour to Your name

At the mention of Your name Jesus
Every knee must bow
Your name is great
Jesus is Your name
You are my helper
And You are my healer

Your name is great
Jesus is Your name
Your name is great
Your name is great
Your name is great
Jesus is Your name

You are greater than the greatest
You are higher than the highest
You are Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
My healer
By His stripes I’m healed
God made me whole
He set my feet upon the rock
He gave me a new life
I’m alive again

Your name is great
Your name is great
Your name is great
Jesus is Your name
Your name is great
Your name is great
Your name is great

Jesus is Your name
Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
My helper
The lifter of my head

CAC Living Water Daily Devotional – Forgiveness Is A Command

CAC Living Water Daily Devotional

CAC Living Water Daily Devotional |  Tuesday, December 21, 2021 | Forgiveness Is A Command

Topic: Forgiveness Is A Command

Date: Tuesday, December 21, 2021

Read: Mark 11:24-26

Matthew 11:24-26  But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.

MEMORISE:

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you (Ephesians 4:32)

EXPOSITION

Forgiveness is an action that will either open the door to heaven for our prayers or shut it. The entire plan of salvation is for us to be forgiven of our sins through the Blood of Jesus Christ shed on the Cross. It does not matter the gravity of our sin(s), as long as we can be bold to confess them sincerely to Christ, He is merciful to forgive us. Yet, there is exemption, our heavenly Father is not ready to forgive anyone who is not ready and willing to forgive those who offend them.

A saying goes thus, to err is human, to forgive is divine and Romans 3:23 states that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Therefore, as a child of God, you have the responsibility to let go of the matter and release those you have put in the custody of your heart, if you want answers to your prayers. When you offend God, you expect Him to forgive you. Likewise, you have to forgive your own offenders. Jesus is totally against unforgiving spirit (v. 26). If you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your sins. And if we have sin in our lives, not only will our prayers not be heard, but we will spend our eternity in hell. Unforgiving itself is a sin. This may sound harsh, but we must remember that God allows His only Son to suffer crucifixion for our sins. This was provided for us as a free gift, which we can never earn neither do we deserve (Rom. 5:8).

Therefore, to forgive our offenders is never a suggestion, or an option. It is a command and God means it, because it has cost God his only dear son. It is either you forgive or you are not forgiven. So make your choice. God help you.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Lord, I let go of those who are already in the prison of my heart.

2. Lord, give me the grace to be a forgiver as You are.

3. Those who are erroneously imprisoned for crimes not committed by them, Lord cause them to receive justice.

TREM Devotional – Pray In The Holy Ghost

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

TREM Devotional 21 December 2021 Daily Devotional By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Pray In The Holy Ghost

TOPIC: Pray In The Holy Ghost

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered.” Romans 8:26 KJV

As a believer, you must cultivate the habit of praying in tongues. While praying your revelation, pray a lot in the Holy Ghost. When you do, a lot of ideas will be coming; take a pen and write them down. Don’t just think it is your mind; it is not just your mind. He that prays in the unknown tongues, his spirit prays but his understanding is unfruitful. At that moment, your mind is unfruitful; so, whatever comes into your mind at that time is of the Spirit. It may be a creative idea that will make you a multi-millionaire overnight or a direction God is giving to you and you are ignoring it. God does not leave us without directions. Make it a lifestyle to pray in the Holy Spirit. It is not what you do only when you go to church. No! It is a spiritual arsenal that God has given to us for the last days to take the enemy unawares. While he is waiting for you in this corner, you are appearing in another corner.

When you are going for an interview, pray in the Holy Ghost before you step in. You can pray in the Holy Spirit under your breath. You don’t have to make people know what you are doing or make a show about it. There might be a long queue as you step in there, but you will be the favoured man. That will be your portion in Jesus Name.

Where you have been despised, you will be celebrated. Something positive will happen to you supernaturally. You have been pursuing that thing for too long and it seems as if it is not falling together, but I declare to you that it will fall together. It is your turn to testify. God will bring it to pass in your life in Jesus Name.
