DCLM Daily Manna – Faithfulness, Please!

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 10 June 2021 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Faithfulness, Please!

TOPIC: Faithfulness, Please!

TEXT: 1 Chronicles 9:14-22

14 And of the Levites; Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;

15 And Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Micah, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph;

16 And Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.

17 And the porters were, Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren: Shallum was the chief;

18 Who hitherto waited in the king’s gate eastward: they were porters in the companies of the children of Levi.

19 And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the gates of the tabernacle: and their fathers, being over the host of the LORD, were keepers of the entry.

20 And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was the ruler over them in time past, and the LORD was with him.

21 And Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was porter of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

22 All these which were chosen to be porters in the gates were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by their genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their set office.

KEY VERSE: “And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was the ruler over them in time past, and the LORD was with him.” – (1 Chronicles 9:20)

MESSAGE:

Some people came to this life unsung, unknown and without any impact in the kingdom of God. Many struggle so much to have their names in the book of “Who is Who” in the world while others want to be renowned in the fields of sports, science, literature and poetry, technology, politics, entertainment and social media. All these will pass with time. Christians should strive more to ensure that their names are in God’s record.

The writer of the book of Chronicles listed some notable people as officials in the house of God. God recognises everything we do for Him whether great or small. He recognised His servants in the city and the ones that dwelt in the villages. There is no place, no matter how remote to man, that is hidden from God. He recognised even the ‘porters’ and the gate keepers! God also acknowledged the ‘rulers’. He acknowledges and rewards only faithfulness in service (Matthew 25:21). The Lord was with Phinehas because of his faithfulness and zeal. Finally, the Chronicler noted that even occupiers of the office of porters in the villages waited in their numbers as ordained by their successive leaders – Samuel and later, David.

All believers today are called to God’s service. Whatever we are called upon to do, we should do it heartily, knowing that God is the rewarder of our service. Even if what we are called to do is insignificant from the human perspective, God’s balances are different from men’s and He is the rewarder. Therefore, in our diligence, we should remain in His service, since we serve God and not man.

Are we mindful of serving God and ensuring that our names are in His book? Are we faithful in service? Let us learn the more excellent way; consistent faithfulness is all He wants.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
It’s not how big but how well.

Lyrics: Peace Anthem By Jazzsari

There’ll be no more guns
It’s an end to fighting,
We’ll live in Peace and Harmony
And always work things out.

In the place of rage,
We will be uniting
Talking through our differences
All without a doubt (all without a fight)

We’ll have Peace
Peace all around us
We’ll have Peace
A cord that will bind us

Together forever as one

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Be Still

Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 9 June 2021 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Be Still

TOPIC: Be Still

The reality of God manifests in man’s stillness.

SCRIPTURE: Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Psalm 46:10-11

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The reality of God manifests in man’s stillness.

There are times when we come across situations that cause us to be perplexed. At such times, what do you do? We have to be still and allow God to have His way and take charge.

Now, what does it mean to be still? It means to be calm. It means to be at peace. It means to be unruffled, unshaken, and noiseless.

What then are the products of stillness?

  1. Insight.

In stillness is insight. Psalm 46:10 says, Be still, and know….

So, when you are at peace, there are things you get to know. At those times, when the enemy wants you to be agitated and tensed up, you must determine to calm down and listen. You will hear and know something from God that will show you the way out.

  1. Encounter.

In stillness there is encounter. Knowledge is a form of encounter.

The Bible says, And Adam knew Eve his wife… (Genesis 4:1). In other words, Adam encountered his wife. So, to be still is to have encounters.

  1. The manifestation of Divine reality.

In stillness there is the manifestation of Divine reality. The reality of God manifests in stillness. There is a side of God you will never know until you are calm because, it is not of him that willeth or runneth but of God that showeth mercy (Romans 9:16).

Beloved, be still and watch God move in your favour. It is not over until God says it is over. And God will never say it is over until His interest is secured, until His purpose is established in your life and destiny. So, do not let anything under heaven make you lose your peace.

REMEMBER THIS: The reality of God manifests in stillness.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Do not worry about anything. Praise God with all your heart and watch Him move into action in your favour.
  2. When you are confronted by the storms of life, be still, and listen for Divine Instruction and direction. Write them out and obey accordingly.
  3. Dissociate yourself from every source of discouragement or depression.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: BE STILL.

PRAYER: Lord, You are my God. Everything is under Your control. I surrender everything to You. Let Your Will prevail in my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Psalm 94-96.

QUOTE: The reason for the storm is not where you are but where you are going. Culled from “RIDING THE STORMS OF LIFE” by Dr Paul Enenche.

REFLECTION: We live in a noisy world that results most times in a noisy mindset. The impact of such noise is the weakening of the mind, emotion and even spiritual sensitivity. There is knowledge in stillness. And there is also strength in stillness (Isaiah 30:7b). Jericho wall came down after the people marched round in stillness for seven days and then shouted at the end. Be still.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Be ushered into a new dimension of knowledge and insight about God in Jesus’ Name.

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. DCLM Daily Manna – Transient Life

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 9 June 2021 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Transient Life

TOPIC: Transient Life

TEXT: Job 14:14-22

14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.

15 Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.

16 For now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin?

17 My transgression is sealed up in a bag, and thou sewest up mine iniquity.

18 And surely the mountain falling cometh to nought, and the rock is removed out of his place.

19 The waters wear the stones: thou washest away the things which grow out of the dust of the earth; and thou destroyest the hope of man.

20 Thou prevailest for ever against him, and he passeth: thou changest his countenance, and sendest him away.

21 His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them.

22 But his flesh upon him shall have pain, and his soul within him shall mourn.

KEY VERSE: “For now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin?” – (Job 14:16)

MESSAGE:

A lot of people spend their life as if it would not be accounted for. There are a number of things that should be noted about life. Life could be very good or very unpleasant, sweet or bitter, joyful or full of challenges, filled with opportunities or deprivations and so on. However, life is brief, momentous and transient. Life itself is a loan or an investment that we have to pay back or account for.

In the passage under consideration, Job mused, “if a man die, shall he live again?” Pondering over afterlife is the most important thing in life; and living our life in the light of eternity is the wisest decision ever. Job decided to stand up to the challenge of life and the way he chose to do that was to respond to God’s call and yield to His entreaties. His reasoning was premised on very rational grounds: God watches over every man’s acts, all iniquities are in God’s records.

Many forget God or treat Him as minor in their life whilst in riches and pleasures in this world. ‘God first’ should be the daily thought of every believer. Life is short and limited. God is going to judge every man’s act. The judgment is not going to be on our earthly acquisitions or deprivations but on our relationship with God who loaned our life to us.

What then should be our mindset? Like Job, we should desire a heart-change and respond to God’s call; sinners should genuinely repent and believers should press to a mark of a higher calling in the Lord. Only what is done with God and for God will last. Do not live only for now; live for the future, live in the light of eternity.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Who are you spending your life for? God or self?

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Proofs Of Faith

Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 8 June 2021 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – The Proofs Of Faith

TOPIC: The Proofs of Faith

SCRIPTURE: Every word of God proves true. He defends all who come to him for protection. Proverbs 30:5 TLB

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Word of God is truer than any contrary physical evidence around you.

We live in a world where satanic wickedness is on the rise. The devil is doing over-time because he knows that his time is short.

The consolation, however, is that the devil is not in control; God is in control. Therefore, in times like this, it is necessary to operate in the realm of strong faith in God. The reason is, it takes faith to surmount obstacles.

Faith in God is what surmounts the obstacles of life.
So, today, we shall be looking at the proofs of faith. There are many proofs of faith but we shall be dealing with two today.

1. Holding on to the Word of God, and refusing to let go, no matter what.
Our anchor Scripture makes us understand that every Word of God proves true. God defends all who come to Him for protection – protection against affliction, Corona Virus, shame, emptiness, scarcity, or depression (Proverbs 30:5, TLB).

Beloved, are you interested in God’s protection? Hold on to His Word. The Word is truer than any contrary physical evidence around you. When you believe the report of the Lord, then His arm will be revealed in your direction (Isaiah 53:1).

2. Praising in anticipation of expectation.
Psalm 106:12 says, Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
And in Acts 16:25, Paul and Silas praised God in the prison, and there was a turnaround. So, praising God in anticipation of your expectation is a proof of faith.

BELOVED As you engage these proofs of faith, I declare that your victory is guaranteed, in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS: The Word of God is truer than any contrary physical evidence around you.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Locate the Word of God in any area you desire God’s intervention and hold unto it until you see a change.
  2. Praise God from your heart in expectation of what God will do

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE PROOFS OF FAITH.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for all you have done, what you are doing and what you will do for me. I believe that all you have said concerning me will surely come to pass, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

BIBLE READING: PSALM 91-93

QUOTE: Those who trust in God cannot rust in life. Culled from “30 SECRETS TO THE TOP” by Dr Paul Enenche.

REFLECTION: Normal people praise God for results that are seen. But faith people praise God for results that are yet to be seen. When was the last time you praised God for what you are yet to see? How long will you hold unto the Promise of God for your life? Until results manifest? That is the best!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: I decree the speedy manifestation and realisation of God’s Promises to you in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Righteous Indignation

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 8 June 2021 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Righteous Indignation

TOPIC: Righteous Indignation

TEXT: Amos 3:1-3

1 Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,

2 You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.

3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

KEY VERSE: “You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.” – (Amos 3:2)

MESSAGE:

“Spare the rod and spoil the child” is a popular maxim. God called Israel His first born (Exodus 4:22). Through signs and wonders and a ‘strong hand’, He planted them in the land of Canaan, flowing with milk and honey. Like one would do to a firstborn, God satisfied Israel with good things. He protected them, supplied their needs and fought against their enemies. But like a spoilt child, Israel took God’s love for granted. God would have none of that because He has eyes too pure to behold iniquity.

Prophet Amos was sent by God to deliver His message to erring Israel. God reminded them of the redemptive work in Egypt. Because Israel had gone into unrighteousness, God asked them an obvious question: “Can two walk together except they be agreed?”

There is nothing like eternal security (that is, the idea that once we are saved, we remain forever saved irrespective whatever we do). The soul that doeth presumptuously shall be cut off from among his brethren. We need to be careful. If God spared not Israel that He referred to as the ‘only family’ He had known of all families of the earth, how can anyone imagine that God would put up with his sins and iniquities?

The fact that God has not executed His judgment upon His erring children now is because He is giving a window of opportunity, so that the sinners and backsliders may repent. If one fails to repent eventually, God will severely punish all iniquities. Remember, God is no respecter of persons.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
God does not condone sins even in His children.

[Music + Video] Your Presence – Jaymz Maunel

Your Presence - Jaymz Maunel

After kicking off the year with ‘You Are’ a song declaring the omnipotence and supremacy of God which was well received and still gaining massive rotation on radio and TV. Jaymz Maunel  is back again with another spirit-filled single ‘Your Presence’.

Your Presence“, is a song of intense communion and fellowship with the Lord was born out of a place of deep intense fellowship with the Lord.

Ps.27.4 – One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.[AMP]

My prayer and earnest desire is that this song will communicate and secure GOD’S manifest Presence all around the world and everywhere it is played and listened to. May it stir up an unending and insatiable desire in us to press into more of God and yield ourselves to deeper, richer, more deliberate and intense fellowship with Jesus Christ who loves us and gave His all for us. ~Jaymz Manuel.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Accessing The Wisdom For Indestructibility

Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 7 June 2021 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Accessing The Wisdom For Indestructibility

TOPIC: Accessing The Wisdom For Indestructibility

To possess God is to possess wisdom.

SCRIPTURE: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Proverbs 9:10

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To possess God is to possess wisdom.

It has been established from our previous studies that the Wisdom of God makes a person unstoppable and indestructible. We saw this in the life of David who was unstoppable and indestructible despite several confrontations. We also saw that where the wisdom of God is at work, the bad will of man cannot prevail.

Today, we shall be looking at the secret of this wisdom that makes people unstoppable and indestructible in life and destiny.

Now, what is the key to this wisdom?

The fear of the Lord

The key to the Wisdom of God is the fear of the Lord as expressed in the pursuit of God (Proverbs 9:10).

David was a God chaser (Psalm 42:1-2). The Bible called him, “The Man after God’s Heart” (1Samuel 13:14).

Beloved, take note of these two key-statements:

a. To pursue God is to pursue wisdom because God is the Headquarters of wisdom.

To possess God is to possess wisdom. For God is the All-wise God (Colossians 2:3).

b. You cannot love God and lack wisdom.

It is not possible to love God passionately and lack wisdom. (Colossians 2:3).

Now, let me give you these counsels:

  1. Reorder your life’s priorities. If you want the kind of wisdom that delivered David from the javelin of Saul, reorder your life’s priorities, and ensure that God is first in your life.
  2. Glorify God in all you do. Let this be your greatest passion – glorifying God with your life, work, intellect, career, voice, heart, and resources.

Beloved, I decree today that as you are ready to glorify God and make Him first in your life, His Wisdom shall become your portion and destruction shall be far from you in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: To possess God is to possess wisdom.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Go through the message again.
  2. Refuse to do what does not please God.
  3. Let the love and fear of God reflect on all you do.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: UNSTOPPABLE BY WISDOM (Part 3).

PRAYER: Lord, give me a heart of love for You. Grant me access to the fountain of Your wisdom, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Psalm 88-90

QUOTE: You cannot arrive in the land of wisdom until you have made the decision to be wise. Culled from “BE WISE AND RISE” by Dr Paul Enenche.

REFLECTION: Wisdom does not begin until the Fear of the Lord is in place. What is it that you fear the most in life? Who do you want to please the most in life? Who do you love the most in life? Is it God? Then you can’t beg for Wisdom.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Begin to experience a new wavelength of wisdom in this season in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – God’s Omnipotence

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 7 June 2021 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — God’s Omnipotence

TOPIC: God’s Omnipotence

TEXT: 1 SAMUEL 2:1-11

1 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.

2 There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

4 The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.

5 They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.

6 The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.

7 The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them.

9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.

10 The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

11 And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child did minister unto the LORD before Eli the priest.

KEY VERSE: “The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up” (1 SAMUEL 2:6).

MESSAGE:

To set one’s hope on a source that turns out to be false is a most harrowing experience in life. No doubt, disappointment, failure, depression, frustration and even death result from trusting a source that is not the Ultimate Power. Challenges of life have driven many to rely on man, money, powers of darkness, self and other forces.

That passage today centres on the eye-opening prayer of praise by Hannah declaring the eternal truth about God. She started by extolling God’s holiness virtue and confirming that He is the only confirmed Rock. Hannah had been a beneficiary of God’s omnipotent power as she received a male child, Samuel, at an old age after praying to the Lord. By experience therefore, she declared the Lord God as the Source of genuine joy, the Giver of victory over the enemies, the Owner of salvation, the incomparable Rock, the ultimate Source of life and living, the Determiner of richness over austerity, the triumphant Lord over all adversaries and Lifter-up of all that trust in Him.

How then does one tap into God’s omnipotent power? How does one benefit from this ultimate Source of power? Hannah knew God as the only solution to all of life’s problems. She had strong faith in the ability and willingness of God to hear and answer His children. She therefore prayed earnestly and fervently to Him, without wavering or doubting. She made a pledge to give the product of her prayer back to God, to serve Him.

The lessons here are invaluable. God only is the Source of the ultimate and unlimited power. Trusting in Him only is the duty of all believers. He is the only one that gives freely.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Trust God to do the impossible.

Kelvin Music’s front-line act Ogheneakpobor Righteous Akpochimoraa – Akpowowo musically known as Enea Kelvin has today released her highly anticipated gospel single titled “Bow” featuring Nigerian gospel singer, Chris Morgan.

Enea Kelvin is undoubtedly one of the most prolific gems in the gospel music industry and has proven umpteen times her talent is unparalleled.

The songBow” is a powerful song of worship which talks about God’s supremacy over man and how all of God’s promises from Genesis to Revelation are fulfilled in Christ. God keeps His promises, and He keeps them in Christ. A song that will constantly remind you that God is a living God and not man, and The Sovereignty of God in the lives of men. In her own words, she said “Once you are in a relationship with the Lord you will find yourself succeed where others have failed. That challenge that seems to have defied human solutions will become your testimony, only believe in God and demonstrate your faith in him.It is only God that can do what no man can do“.

She fully represents Germany in Africa and raises the flag of Gospel music in Germany and globally through her African style of Gospel music.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is safe to say that God is still Changing Lives and when he says Yes, no individual or being can say No. Do you have a relationship with Jesus?  If not, brethren, it is not too late to embrace Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
