SCRIPTURE: “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you” – 2 Corinthians 6:17.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You cannot make a difference until you are different

To be different is to be distinct in quality and nature from the rest.

It has been confirmed that, you cannot make a difference until you are different. And until your nature is different your future can never be different.

As believers in Christ we are called to be different from the rest of the people of the world. The believer is to be markedly different from the unbeliever as light is from darkness. But amazingly, it is now difficult to differentiate a believer from an unbeliever especially in conduct.

The same way an unbeliever cheats in an example, for example, some ‘Christians’ would also cheat. I have heard that most people would prefer to do business with an unbeliever (even someone from the other religion) than to do business with some Christians. What an upside down arrangement!

One day, I was in an aircraft and a man who sat next to me was making a phone call and he said; ‘O yes, I’m speaking to you from Lagos now’ meanwhile we were at the Abuja airport! I was so amazed! The unfortunate thing is that Christians are doing the same thing – lying up and down. The question is, what kind of salvation did you receive that didn’t change your character when you “gave” your life to Him?

Beloved, that it is popular does not make it proper. That the whole world is doing it does not make it right either. The standard of God remains sure.

Please be different in order to have a different destiny in this sinking world.

You shall make it, in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS: You cannot make a difference until you are different.

Determine to be clearly different in character from unbelievers or lukewarm Christians

Text: Revelation 19:6-10

Key Verse: “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready” – (Revelation 19:7).

A young man who was to return home and be married came sooner than was expected. He did not notify his bride-to-be of the exact time. He desired to please her with a surprise. He loved her devotedly and had worked hard and saved his earnings in order to purchase a home for her. It was about midnight when he arrived but, with a happy heart, he felt he must go by her home. However, when he came near, he saw the house was all lighted up. As he came nearer, he heard music. Still nearer, he saw dancing. Finally looking through the window he saw his bride-to-be in the embrace of another man. His heart sank within him and he went away never to return.

The passage before us focuses on the eventual consummation of the marriage between Christ, the Bridegroom and His espoused wife, the Church. The mood here is that of merriment and rejoicing as the Church is raptured to attend the wedding reception organised for her by Christ.

The marriage ceremony between Christ and the Church cannot proceed without the Bride first making herself ready. When a new queen was to be sought for king Ahasuerus, the chosen maids had to undergo twelve months of purification processes before they could be brought in to see just a mortal king (Esther 2:12). What degree of purification would you imagine would be required to see the King of kings?

As the Church passes through the final phase of this wilderness journey and the days of our rejoicing draw near, let us make ourselves ready and ensure our spiritual garments are clean and white.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Any believer who is bankrupt of the Presence of God is in a state of emergency.

It has been confirmed that the Presence of God is the most valuable asset of man in life. The Presence of God is an asset of unquantifiable worth in the life of a Christian. The Presence of God is that stamp of Divinity on a Christian that confirms that he/she is associated with God. This is why any believer who is bankrupt of the Presence of God is in a state of emergency. As a matter of fact, the Presence of God is the ‘Person’ of God. That is, gaining admission into the Presence of God is gaining admission into God.

The critical thing is, the primary requirement for securing an admission into the Presence of God is living a blameless or holy life. (Psalms 24:3-6). A life of crookedness can never access His Presence; a life of bitterness, fraud, cheating, lying, immorality, adultery, envy, jealousy, etc. cannot be admitted into God’s Presence. Never allow sin deny you admission into God’s Presence.

Beloved, it does not matter what you lack, never lack the Presence of God. If you have the Presence of God you have everything.

Today, I prophesy the impartation of the overwhelming Presence of God upon your life. The last time you lost touch of God’s Presence shall be the last forever, in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS: Any believer who is bankrupt of the Presence of God is in a state of emergency

The hymn, “So Send I You”, has been called the greatest missionary hymn of the twentieth century by many evangelical leaders. It was first published in 1954 after having been written sixteen years earlier by a Canadian woman, a school teacher, Margaret Clarkson.

Women, as well as men are both important in God’s vineyard. In concluding the epistle to the Romans, Apostle Paul dedicated a considerable part of this chapter to acknowledge the contribution of his fellow helpers and associates in the service of the Lord. A number of women ministers were on the list, including Phebe, Pricilla, Mary and others.

As requested in this passage, the leaders in the church, together with the entire membership, are commanded to assist the women in their ministries. God who created the woman to help the man in marriage, also gave her a unique place in the Church of God. Their work is pivotal to the overall success of the Church. They equally have very special abilities in areas where they’ve been naturally endowed, like teaching the children and youths and counselling the womenfolk.

Some women tend to fold their hands because it was said in 1 Timothy 2:11,12 that the woman should not usurp authority over the man in the church; that’s true. But how about outside the church? Outside the church lies a greater harvest field with more people needing our help. The command to preach to every creature is a challenge to both men and women in the church. Like Clarkson, our women leaders should step in to preach and heal the millions who are lost and lone and contribute their quota in washing the saints’ feet.

About Chi-Gospel

Chinenye Ruth Udeh aka Chi-Gospel is a native of Anambra state of Nigeria. She grew up as a kid having the inspiration of singing, having a father who is a pastor and who also had a pastor as his father. Her love for God grew from her teenage age where she will always assign herself into a group of choristers that has its stand towards praising and worshipping God.
She moved to the United States many years ago after getting married to her sweetheart, there she established herself in music as a profession. She’s also a professional nurse.

Less did we know that at an early age, she was involved in a near-death accident that resulted in losing her memory when she was still in Lagos, Nigeria. After years of toiling for solutions, she was helped by God and that memory came back.

Her songs are testimonies gotten from that incident. Recounting how God delivered her from that trauma that cost her a loss of identity, it’s a mystery that resulted in the release of her debut “Dansaki Re” back in 2017. She followed up with the second Igbo praise tune “Ebighi Ebi” which surmounted many positive reactions in early 2018. After that, she edged in the colorful video for “Dansaki Re” and had it supported with a surprised ‘Onyeoma” anthem later that year.

In mid-2019, she doped the remix of “Onyeoma” and glamoured the center stage by this past August when she outshined with the super fantastic visuals for Onyeoma Remix.

As he style has always been to spice her fans with the gift God has deposited in her, she left no stone unturned in her birthday today as she springs forth with a very delicate single “iRejoice” couple with a spontaneous video as a backup. Text: Hebrews 11:20-40

Key Verse: “Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions” – (Hebrews 11:33).

There was a time when Spain possessed the territory both sides of the Straits of Gibraltar. So on their coins they stamped the two Pillars of Hercules, which is what the two promontories of rock were called. And on a scroll the words, “No more beyond”. Meaning there is nothing else out there. Then came the discovery of the New World and with it the realisation that there was in fact something else out there. So they changed the coins to read, “More beyond.” Mostly, our limits don’t come from God but from within us.

Hebrews chapter eleven is the hall of fame of men and women who did mighty works, overcame the enemies, obtained surprised victories and stood firm in the face of persecutions. Moses chose to suffer affliction with the people of Israel rather than enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. Apart from the patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and the kings and judges, like David, Samuel, Barak, Samson and Jephthae, women, were also prominent on the list. Some had their children raised from death, with the heathen Rahab, said to be a harlot, escaping judgment by faith, when the city of Jericho was destroyed.

It is amazing how the people who lived at different ages and under different circumstances, including foreigners can all be on the same list because they had the same faith. It shows that with faith in God, anything is possible. We can rise from zeros to heroes; we can overcome challenges and persecutions if we have faith in God. In summary, there are no limits in life, because God is unlimited.

We can only be counted as men and women of faith if we stop doubting and trust in God to fulfil His word.

The word, Service, implies the act of going out of one’s way to be useful to somebody or an organization in achieving or satisfying the desired needs of the person or the organization.

Service is a critical condition for greatness in life. Leaders are processed in the school of service. That is why until you have served successfully, you cannot lead effectively.

Get this: Service is superior to status; having a status without service makes men end as statues. It is the lack of movement that turns people into monuments.

The truth is, there can be no wasted service. Your service today is a seed that causes you to reap a harvest tomorrow. How you serve today determines whether you will be served tomorrow (Luke 10:7).

For instance, it was when Joseph interpreted both the Butler and the Baker’s dreams, that he got his dreams interpreted and fulfilled his destiny. (Genesis 40:5-12).

It was Zig Ziglar who said, ‘You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.’

Beloved, there is no substitute to service; the way of service is the highway to greatness.

Today, I prophesy to you the grace for service. I arrest every spirit of lethargy or weakness that may have punctured your service-life, in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS: Service is superior to status; having a status without service makes men end as statues. It is the lack of movement that turns people into monuments.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

Make yourself available to serve in any capacity that you can.
Never abdicate your responsibilities so you don’t end as a liability in life

American Contemporary Worship Artist, Michael Stuckey has released another captivating praise single, “African Way“, bound to get you praising and leaping for joy from the first kick.

Michael Stuckey is known for his classic sound with some “old school swag” as the prophetic wave flows through his voice and energy.

“African Way” was recorded before a live audience in Ghana, West Africa and speaking about the new single, Michael Stuckey shares: “I’ve been to Africa over 10 times from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and realized that the Songs in each country are completely different but the Worship comes from a deep place. I wanted to remember the best feeling I’ve ever experienced and that’s a song that would be for every place in Africa. Because can’t nobody praise God like the African”

About Michael Stuckey

Gospel’s newest contemporary Worship Artist, Michael Stuckey emerged in the middle of 2010 with a fresh spin on traditional gospel to light up the old-fashioned church music with modern elements.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Stuckey first came to prominence as a lead vocalist for Ricky Dillard & New “G.” (The founder OF Canada’s first annual gospel awards show, the Glass Awards)

Michael Stuckey has also served under the ministries of Dr Robert Lairdon. Author of God’s Generals and Bishop Clarence McCleddon. He is Currently serving under Reverend Teresa Wairimu of Kenya

In 2017, He set out on his own as a solo artist with the ultimate assignment centered on empowering believers, winning souls for Christ through the power of worship and bring the glory of God back to the office of the Worshipper.

UK Based Gospel artiste, Seme releases visuals for new single “King Of Grace“. ‘The grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men’. Titus 2:11

As that verse has highlighted, the grace of God is available to ALL – the rich, the poor, the disabled, the unemployed, the heartbroken… you name it! Seme shares this powerful message of God’s grace with new single titled “King of Grace”.

It is one song that you will want to listen to Over and over again because the lyrics will resonate with you. When asked about the inspiration behind the song, here’s what he had to say. ‘I was reflecting one day about a number of things, thinking about how our lives vary widely from one another. We have different circumstances, different challenges, different social experiences but one thing struck me as being common to all of us- the grace of God!’

The lyrics help us understand the power of this grace and also encourages us on how to respond to it. Seme puts it this way “…it’s one thing for Jesus to come to earth and die for us without us deserving this kind of love. It’s another matter entirely to react to this in the right way. King of Grace was my simple reaction to this love and I hope everyone can sing along and see where I am coming from, but not only that, find common ground. Jesus did not die for healthy people. The sick are the ones in need of a doctor”.
