Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Sharpening Effect Of Relationship

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 23 March 2021 Devotional By Pastor Paul Enenche – The Sharpening Effect Of Relationship

TOPIC: The Sharpening Effect Of Relationship

Relate with people who sharpen your potentials, amplify your strength and suffocate your weaknesses.

SCRIPTURE: Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. Proverbs 27:17.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Relate with people who sharpen your potentials, amplify your strength and suffocate your weaknesses.

We have been looking at critical wisdom tips for profitable relationship from our previous studies. We saw right kind of people to relate with and those not to relate with in order to arrive at quality destiny.

Today, we shall look at yet another kind of people to relate with, and they are people who sharpen your potentials, amplify your strength and suffocate your weaknesses.

These are people who are focused on bringing out the best in you in terms of the enhancement of strength and the sharpening and deployment of potentials.

These are people who can tell you, “You can do it. I can see great talent and ability in you. Rise up. Wake up. Give it your best. Don’t slack.”

By encouraging you, they sharpen your potentials, amplify your strength and suffocate your weakness. When you say you don’t know how to do a thing, they tell you: “Don’t worry. What you can do are more than what you cannot do.”

On the other hand, there are people who want to choke your potential, arrest your strength and amplify your weakness. These are the people who can tell you things like: “You don’t know how to talk. See, you can’t even dress well. What kind of singing is that?”

Beloved, my counsel is, refuse to follow the negative things people say about you. If you continue to listen to the wrong people, they will suffocate your potential and choke your strength.

Remember this: Relate with people who sharpen your potentials, amplify your strength and suffocate your weaknesses.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make up your mind to relate wisely.
  2. Relate with people who sharpen your potentials, amplify your strength and suffocate your weaknesses.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to relate with people who sharpen my potentials, amplify my strength and suffocate my weaknesses. Help me Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: CRITICAL WISDOM FOR SUCCESSFUL LIVING (PART 1).

QUOTE: Your association affects your destination and your company affects your destiny. Culled from “22 LAWS OF LIFE” (Vol. 1) by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: 2 Kings 25 – 1 Chronicles 2

AMAZING FACT: Elephant brains weigh 5kg, much more than the brain of any other land animal.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: The Lord take off the wrong set of people from your life in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Profiting Where Others Failed

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 23 March 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F Kumuyi – Profiting Where Others Failed

TOPIC: Profiting Where Others Failed

TEXT: Romans 11:1-12 (KJV)

1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,

3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.

5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded

8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:

10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.

11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

KEY VERSE: “I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.” – (Romans 11:11)

MESSAGE:

It has occurred in several life instances that a supposed winner is eventually disqualified at the final decision point for failing in one criterion or the other. This kind of scenario has occurred in sporting, political, social, academic, business and other events. In such an instance, the runner-up is selected as a replacement or a fresh selection process is ordered. Each game or life-event has its way of qualifying beneficiaries; so does the kingdom of God.

Israel was God’s chosen nation. He is the descendant of Abraham, the father of faith. God places high premium on him. He literally brought the people up, cared for and favoured them. However, Israel’s response to God’s care was like that of a ‘spoilt child’. They took it for granted and treated His laws with disdain until He was fed up with them for ignoring several of His warnings. He had to set them aside. This gave a great opportunity to the Gentiles who were not of the commonwealth of Israel to enjoy great intimacy with God by adoption into sonship through the Lord Jesus Christ. God did not intend to cast Israel off forever because “Israel shall be saved…” His purpose for putting them aside for now is to give room for “righteous” Gentiles and to provoke Israel to jealousy so they can seek righteousness and be saved.

Like Israel, a person or a congregation may have been enjoying God’s favour and presence for a long time and eventually take these for granted. These privileges can be withdrawn in the twinkling of an eye. Retaining God’s favour is conditional. As there is room for Israel to regain their earlier favoured position if they respond to God’s overtures, so is there room for those who are cast away to repent and return to God. Those who are enjoying His great care should take heed. If He cast Israel aside, He can do the same to us if we fail Him.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Take heed; nobody is beyond a fall.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Right Kind Of People To Relate With

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 21 March 2021 Devotional By Pastor Paul Enenche – The Right Kind Of People To Relate With

TOPIC: The Right Kind Of People To Relate With

Don’t hang around people who tolerate you; hang around people who celebrate you, people who see the treasure in you, and are excited about you and what you represent.

SCRIPTURE: Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. Proverbs 27:17.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Relate with people who brighten your vision.

The matter of relationship is of critical importance to life and destiny fulfilment. The quality of your relationship determines the quality of your destiny. That is why it is wisdom not to relate carelessly.

Today, I will give you two categories of people to relate with:

i. Relate with people who see the treasure in you (2 Cor. 4:7).

Relate with people who are excited about you and about what you represent. These are people who see the treasure in you; they are excited about you and what you represent.

You know, there are people who celebrate you, and people who tolerate you. Don’t hang around people who tolerate you; hang around people who celebrate you, people who see the treasure in you, and are excited about you and what you represent.

ii. Relate with people who brighten your vision and inflame your passion (Ps. 36:9b).

Relate with people who brighten your vision. These are people in whose light, you see light (Ps. 36:9b). Their vision is similar to yours. They are like Elizabeth who makes the baby in your womb to kick. When you talk with them, you are en-fired because you have similar mind-sets.

On the other hand, don’t relate with people who kill your vision. Don’t relate with people who after hearing your vision, tell you, “Don’t think like that. Who is thinking like that these days? What you are thinking about is not possible in this country.” They deflate your enthusiasm and puncture your positivism.

Beloved, run away from vision killers; associate with vision enhancers.

Remember this: Relate with people who brighten your vision.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Relate with people who accept and celebrate you.
  2. associate with vision enhancers, and run away from vision killers.

PRAYERS: Lord, I ask for the grace to identify and relate with the right kind of people. Help me to also identify and avoid who not to relate with, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: CRITICAL WISDOM FOR SUCCESSFUL LIVING (PART 1).

QUOTE: Your association can either frustrate your destruction and facilitate your preservation or frustrate your preservation and facilitate your destruction. Culled from “22 LAWS OF LIFE” (VOL. 1) by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: 2 Kings 19-21

AMAZING FACT: Eagles do not need to eat every day. They have a special digestive organ known as the crop, which stores food until there is room for it in the stomach.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: You shall end well in Jesus’ Name. Grace to relate well and end well is released upon you in Jesus’ Name.

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. DCLM Daily Manna – Be Not Deceived

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 21 March 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F Kumuyi – Be Not Deceived

TOPIC: Be Not Deceived

TEXT: Jeremiah 14:13-22 (KJV)

13 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.

14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

15 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

16 And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters: for I will pour their wickedness upon them.

17 Therefore thou shalt say this word unto them; Let mine eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease: for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow.

18 If I go forth into the field, then behold the slain with the sword! and if I enter into the city, then behold them that are sick with famine! yea, both the prophet and the priest go about into a land that they know not.

19 Hast thou utterly rejected Judah? hath thy soul lothed Zion? why hast thou smitten us, and there is no healing for us? we looked for peace, and there is no good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble!

20 We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee.

21 Do not abhor us, for thy name’s sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us.

22 Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things.

KEY VERSE: “Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart” (Jeremiah 14:14).

MESSAGE:

There seems to be an upsurge of prophets, prophetesses and prophecies running through our land like a great wave. Prophecies of some of these self-styled prophets range from personal, congregational, community and national to international spheres. Many of the issues covered are on marriage, prosperity, elections, new-year outcomes, sports and many more. In many cases, some undiscerning and unsuspecting people are taken in.

The text today is a Fatherly warning from God through Jeremiah to Israel and us, to be wary of false prophets and prophecies. The Lord clearly denies ever sending these prophets and He denounces their prophecies. Truly, God sends His words of prophecy through His anointed and inspired servants. But He has not sent or inspired majority of the so-called prophets today. The Holy Spirit cannot indwell and inspire an unrighteous man. A prophecy that is truly from God cannot contradict His word on godliness and holiness. God-inspired prophecy should draw hearers away from sin and satanic intrigues towards uprightness and faith in God. Prophecies that give hope of divine presence and succor while continuing in sin or of prosperity in spite of blatant ungodliness are definitely not inspired by God.

God’s warning is to both the false prophets and the people that patronise them because they are willingly deceived (Jeremiah 5:31; 2:11). Eternal punishment awaits the deceivers and the deceived.

The fact that a prophecy is fulfilled is not an affirmation that it is from God; “for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works” (2 Corinthians 11:14, 15). True prophecies must agree with God’s written word.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Beware! Both the deceiver and the deceived will be punished.

[Music + Lyrics] Sons And Daughters – Joseph Francis

Sons And Daughters - Joseph Francis

He is always burning with the passion to touch humanity for Divinity with the Gospel of Christ through Music and the Word of Truth and Life, this best describes the mission of Joseph Francis.

His latest single ‘Sons And Daughters’ (S.A.D) is a beautiful lyrical picture on the Abundant Inheritance of the path of every child of God in contrast of the sad reality believers often experience for running the race their own way, therefore frustrating the Grace.

Born of the Spirit, the song came to Joseph Francis in a dream on a Sunday afternoon after a church service in the year 2017. When he would eventually write out the lyrics, he saw it was a message from the Lord beyond his human understanding.

He got confirmations to work on the production on the 26th of December 2020. ‘Sons And Daughters’ is a warning,  a Word Of Power and Restorative Healing for all Sons and Daughters in this time and season.

Joseph Francis was born on the 13th of June, in Lagos, Nigeria. He is from Ekiti State, Ikere Local Government. He is a minister of the Gospel, an artiste, a songwriter and, married with a Son.

Lyrics: Sons And Daughters By Joseph Francis

Oh oh oooh oh
Oh oooh oh oooh

We are Sons and daughters
Of the most high God
Purchased by His blood
He made us a king
We enjoyed His kindness
His mercies and Grace
He gave us everything
So we may reign
“But” We are on our way running away
We joined the race, but abused the grace
We are on our way running away
We suffer the pain of our ways.

There’ll be no more cry
When we do your will
There’ll be no more pain
When we keep your Word
We are short of power
Cause we keep away

(Oh oh oh oh oh)

Oooh Oh oh oh
(We will do) we will do what you would Say

(Oh Oh oh oh oh oh, oh oh)
Oooh Oh oh oh
(Yes We will do) we will do what you would Say
(We will keep your word Lord) Oooh Oh oh oh
(We will do your will, oh oh oh).. we will do what you would Say

(There will be no more cry no) Oooh oh oh oh
(There will be no more pain, no no no no)
We will do what you would say

(Yeh yeh)
Purchased by His blood (Purchased by His blood) He made us a king
We enjoyed His kindness(Kindness) His mercies(Mercies) and Grace
Oh oh He gave us everything(Everything) so we may reign
We are on our way(running away) running away

There will be no more pain
When we keep your words
We are short of power
Cause we keep away

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Associating With People Of Quality Principles And Character

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 19 March 2021 Devotional By Pastor Paul Enenche – Associating With People Of Quality Principles And Character

TOPIC: Associating With People Of Quality Principles And Character

Beloved, always know that your ideal friend is the person whose character is as good yours or someone with a better character trait that you want to absorb.

SCRIPTURE: Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. Proverbs 27:17.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your ideal friend is the person whose character is as good as yours or someone with a better character trait that you want to absorb.

Relationship is critical to life and destiny fulfilment. In life, your company determines your outcome. That is why wisdom dictates that you relate with people who have principles and character that you either want to sustain or assimilate.

There are people who have solid character and quality principles that you want to assimilate or sustain. There are people who have the kind of desirable character that you don’t have or principles that you lack. It may be the character of discipline or diligence that you admire and would like to acquire. Associate with those kind of people. And you know it takes iron to sharpen iron (Prov. 27:17).

It is also possible you have similar character of discipline and diligence and you want to relate with someone of such character in order to sustain yours. The person can encourage you and you can also encourage the person. That is the kind of person to relate with again because it takes iron to sharpen iron (Prov. 27:17).

Beloved, always know that your ideal friend is the person whose character is as good yours or someone with a better character trait that you want to absorb.

That is why it is a challenge for a decent young lady to become friends with a prostitute. It is a challenge when an honest person becomes a friend to an armed robber. This is because the honest person will soon lose his character of honesty by such association. So, relate wisely.

Remember this: Your real friend is the person who either has the same good character content like you or a person with a better character trait that you want to absorb.

Remember this: Your ideal friend is the person whose character is as good yours or someone with a better character trait that you want to absorb.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Relate with people of good character.
  2. Do not relate with someone whose character will influence your character negatively.

PRAYER: O LORD, I ask that You give me ideal friends. I receive the grace to be a person of quality character and also attract people of quality character traits around me, LORD, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: Who surrounds you determines what you can suffer and who surrounds you determines what you can survive. Culled from “22 LAWS OF LIFE” (Vol.1) by Dr Paul Enenche.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Wisdom for profitable productive relationship is released for you in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Danger Of Wilful Sinning

DCLM Daily Manna

DCLM Daily Manna 19 March 2021 Devotional By Pastor W. F Kumuyi – Danger Of Wilful Sinning

TOPIC: Danger Of Wilful Sinning

TEXT: Deuteronomy 19:11-21 (KJV)

11 But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities:

12 Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die.

13 Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.

14 Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour’s landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land that the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it.

15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

16 If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;

17 Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;

18 And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;

19 Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.

20 And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.

21 And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

KEY VERSE: “But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities: Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die” (Deuteronomy 19:11, 12).

MESSAGE:

In the introductory verses in this chapter (verses 2 – 7), God had commanded the Israelites to create six cities of refuge. The purpose of this was to secure a hiding place for the slayer who did not commit the crime intentionally or maliciously. Once the assailant had run into any of the cities of refuge, the avengers of blood could not go in to force him out for judgment.

In today’s text, it is stated that if any man hates his neighbour and lies in wait for him, and smites him mortally and flees into one of these cities, the law of the cities of refuge would not apply since the crime was committed intentionally or maliciously. So the assailant would have to be brought out to be judged by the elders of his own city.

In addition, all Israelites were expected to be just, truthful, sincere and honest in their dealings with their neighbours. They should not covet their neighbour’s property or bear false witness. All these could engender hatred, anger and even malicious murder. Everyone should be content with his own lot.

In the present dispensation, Christ is the Refuge for those who put their faith in Him. He is the believers’ shield and security. In Him, refuge is provided for those who by faith flee unto Him. However, there is no refuge or protection in Jesus for wilful or presumptuous sinners who still deliberately continue in their sin despite persistent warning from the Spirit of God (Hebrews 10:26). Any sinner who repents and flees to Christ shall be saved, but those who think they can take shelter in Him and still continue to sin wilfully will be judged. Saints are also expected to be satisfied with what they have and shun every form of falsehood, tale bearing, covetousness, libel or slander.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
There is no eternal security for a sinning churchgoer.

THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Numbers 33-34

[Music + Video] This Too Shall Pass – Freddie G

This Too Shall Pass - Freddie G

From his view, Freddie strongly believes that the people all over the world could use some encouragement and hope right now.

Following an unusual and a demanding 2020, the losses, the grief, the pain, the shocks, the isolation and all. Laughing or smiling became an alien in many homes.

Alas! Freddie, births a solution, a song that is congruous with the silver lining of hope that is in our cloud right now.

It’s a hybrid of Calypso, Afro centric blend with rumba Garnished with pop elements with a potent horns ensemble.

This Too Shall Pass‘, produced by the living music production Legend, Ambassador Wole Oni, is laced with bosa nova acoustic guitars and the vintage Nigeria Easter solo guitar licks and phrases. While retaining the real jungle African percussion Rhythm.

In his words, “no matter what is going on or what you are going through, know this, IT SHALL PASS!! Hold onto your Faith and continue to trust God!! He loves and cares for you.”

The song is a total package of HOPE: encouragement, expectation, excitement, anticipation and resilience.

There should be no excuse for not adding this song to your playlist. As it is now available in video and audio format on digital stores.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Living With Eternity In View

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 17 March 2021 Devotional By Pastor Paul Enenche – Living With Eternity In View

TOPIC: Living With Eternity In View

Live with eternity in view. Live with the consciousness that you will meet God one day.

SCRIPTURE: Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. Luke 10:20.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Live with eternity in view. Live with the consciousness that you will meet God one day.

We have been exploring in our earlier studies, the keys to accessing the power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

Today we shall be looking at yet another key, and that is living with eternity in view.

When the disciples of Jesus came back from where Jesus sent them to preach, He told them not to rejoice because the devil bowed before them but to rejoice because their names were written in heaven.

This means, if you want the Power of God to be rooted in your life, you must be conscious of the fact that there is heaven, and there is hell. You know, consciousness imparts cautiousness. The way you live is affected by what you think.

So, live with eternity in view. Live with the consciousness that you will meet God one day. Now, to live carelessly is to end dangerously. Do not give room to the devil in your life. Do not give opportunity to the devil to waste you or deal with you anyhow. So, you must live cautiously.

Now, the story of Daniel in the lions’ den is a very striking example of the power of righteousness over the enemy. Why could the lions not harm Daniel when he was thrown into their den? It was because he was without fault. No wonder he said: “My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocence was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.” Daniel 6:22.

Beloved, if you want to disarm the devil, live in righteousness and maintain the consciousness of eternity.

Remember this: Live with eternity in view. Live with the consciousness that you will meet God one day.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Live with eternity in view always.
  2. Maintain the lifestyle of uprightness and shun every form of evil.

PRAYER: I receive the grace to live with eternity in view. Help me to live in righteousness, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: POWER TO TREAD.

QUOTE: How you live on earth determines where you will end in eternity. Culled from “WHO ARE YOU?” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: 2 Kings 7-9

AMAZING FACT: The queen bee can live up to 5 years and she is the only bee that lays eggs. She is the busiest in the summer months, when the hive needs to be at its maximum strength, and lays up to 2500 eggs per day.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: The grace to live with eternity in view is released upon your life now in Jesus’ Name.
